Seasons 1, 2, 3, and the first half of Season 4 were amazing, and now Season 8 is truly matching that standard. It took almost three and a half seasons for the show to get back on its feet, but it is and I GREATLY suggest watching it if you gave up hope on it. Now it sucks, and he is just being killed more being on merchandise. Along side, their making a sequel to the movie. I loved SpongeBob the first 3 seasons and some of S4's episodes were good too, but simply didn't match S1/2/3's quality. Only can see what they have on Netflix at the moment (guess i could try and find more on youtube, but don't have a strong enough desire to watch it). The old spongebob used to be extremely funny, and don't even get me started on the episode where Spongebob first lands his job at the Krusty Krab. After the movie? In my opinion super meh. Although there was a few moments when it was funny but it wasn't like the old ones. It seems like they've changed it a bit because of the younger generation. DumbFabric 37 June 14, 2012 Share June 14, 2012 In my school's stage band we play the Spongebob Squarepants theme whenever we go to a grade school performance. During the day my friend and I will usually start making references to the show at any opportunity. Also, in my school's drumline last year when someone would do something terrible we'd be like, "How about we take Bikini Bottom... and PUSH IT somewhere else?!" Our instructors would get so mad, haha. I definitely love watching the old episodes when they're on.
