Where were the windigos in g5?

In My Little Pony: A New Generation, the three pony races were separated and feared each other and that made me wonder, why didn’t the windigos return?

Maybe Twilight's protective bubble also kept the Windigos out of (New) Equestria. It might not even have been intentional.
