Discordian 6,003 Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 You know what I'm tired of hearing, that the Sonic games shouldn't have serious stories like Sonic Adventure and Shadow just because Sonic is a game for everyone (leaning more towards the younger gamers, of course) and not a mature one. I'm constantly being told "if you want to see a serious story, don't play Sonic" Well I say "No, fuck you, I wanna see a serious story in a Sonic game, I want to play a Sonic game and shouldn't have to play something else just because I want a serious story. Sonic did just fine in the past with serious stories, it would be perfectly okay to do it again. Just because the one super-serious story they made in Sonic 06 didn't get as good of reception as they wanted doesn't mean they need to give up on it completely.
