Tired of her current spot, she stands and stretches before walking down the cobblestone pathways. Perhaps there was a nice diner nearby where she could grab some brunch. She sure was getting her exercise this morning. Panting hard, her horn glowed a deep violet, and so did the door, which swung open with unnecessary force. Horn still glowing, she teleported a few floors up. Landing right on top of a brown earth pony, sending them both tumbling to the ground. "Excuse me, young lady, but whatever is your name," the pony asked. She answered truthfully, with a red tint. "Well! What a pleasant first impression Miss. Besides, what's this Fallen Kingdom (OOC: Seriously though, are you even planning this?)? It sounds amazing!" Paperback started in vain, as the stallion had already escaped earshot. Her professor butted in, "Miss Paperback, the Fallen Kingdom's are a part of an old empire, long past. It's o'er yonder of the Royal Hills, if I am correct..." The two stared at each other. They finally came to the top of the last green roll of land, and in the distance of a stretch of flat land was a huge tower. "Well...I suppose that couldn't be it, huh?" "That...that...that crazy thing was right? I've been searching, searching all my life for THESE ruins, and the ENTIRE time, they were right by my university!" The professor dashed down the hill to the door of the tower. By the time Paperback had gotten there, the Professor had already busted the door down and trotted inside. Paperback and the Professor reached the last step of the staircase, yet it gave way to Marin's weight, who reached for Paper's hoof and tripped her instead. *oomf*bump* The two ponies landed hard on the stone floor, which was littered by lifeless corpses, still fully intact. *COUGH* She looked at Marin who was now on the ground wheezing. Maybe it's asthma? "Are you okay, Mar? Marin, are you okay? Marin!" She remembered something about that crazy black stallion saying something about poison. That was it, it must have been poison gas! "You're going to be okay Marin, just hold on," She exclaimed while conjuring an airtight chamber for them. It would last hours, so maybe they could figure out an escape plan until then... Vortex said yelling. He soon went to Forgotten Falls, collecting a sample of spring water to use for a science project. Very simple and pretty. The name's Lace Wing. I'm from Canterlot myself. My mother was a unicorn, born and raised there. My father was a Wonderbolt. He always was a bit sad that I never used my wings for sports. I preferred fashion like my mother. Still, I absolutely adore the Wonderbolts. I follow their races nearly religiously. I had to miss today's, sadly, what with my monthly fashion scouting. Poor planning on my part. Am I talking to much, dear?" The cream pegasus smiles at her poor, unsuspecting brunch buddy.
