My first drawing of a posed pony. I know it looks bad. but after all, i just started drawing ponies.

Trust me, I could make worse and be trying my full out best. As said above, just work with the face a little and it would look pretty good for a starter.

I don't like colour either. Anyway, just needs more practice and you'll get it.

The text works well. Practice the mouth, her right eye shouldn't be like that. I might feel that way about the R. eye b/c of how thick the lines are near it. Near the bottom of the right hoof it looks as though it curves in. It otherwise looks as though it's incomplete.

 

EDIT: And yes, I too prefer monochrome.
