Celtore 2,766 October 19, 2012 Share October 19, 2012 (edited) My biggest pet peeve: 1) THEY'RE. THERE. THEIR. They are, refering to location, refering to something being owned by someone else. Was that too hard to learn? I get a little more depressed every time I see a "they're" out of place. Their and there don't hurt as much, but they still do significantly annoy me. 2) Windows deciding to automatically shut down without my permission. Just because I have to walk away from the computer for approximately half an hour doesn't mean you can restart on your own! The dialogue box doesn't even minimize full screen windows when it shows up, so I might get a completely random restart after 15 minutes. Thankfully after upgrading to ultimate via a free college upgrade I was finally able to disable that "feature" through an obscure policy option, but seriously, what genius at microsoft thought that was a good idea!? If these are the people I would have to compete with to get into being a software developer, getting into the profession will be a freaking CINCH!... Ok, short rant over. Im just going to cut it here before I work myself into a blind fury about people who don't know how to properly use a roundabout. Also, I really hate it when some guy in a class with me acts like a total jackass and gets in trouble a lot, but the teacher takes a liking to him and then he gets a better grade than me. Stuff that really grinds my gears: -People spinning their pens/pencils around. He has no idea it's making me feel sick. PHYSICALLY sick. It's like he's coughing (or worse) right into my ear. He has no idea how much it actually hurts. He doesn't even wanna care. When I say "please don't tickle me" I am not challenging you to a tickle match. In fact, this rather applies to any sort of physical flirting. Poking, shoulder punching, stealing my stuff to be cute. Dangit, don't touch me. Depends on the way you say it, for some. I, for example, won't take you seriously if you're laughing while saying it.I actually wouldn't even tickle someone without obvious provocation, and would NEVER punch someone on the shoulder in the first place. I don't find stealing "cute" either. But that's a different story. That being said, if you're plainly showing your annoyance and they STILL bother you, they ARE being asses. my biggest pet peeve is people who wont leave me alone. i hate being pestered especially when i'm in the zone when it comes to drawing, i just lose my concentration. and people wonder why i act cranky. [...] Labels. I hate labels. why should we be categorised? I've had people make fun of me because I'm more boyish than girly and I haven't done anything bad to them. Seriously? This.THIS. This always happen when I go from school to my home - smokers are just EVERYWHERE.
