She smiled "I've never seen a noble men, not in my life." She liked this light chat made her feel better about what what was going to happen tomorrow. Celestia and Luna are still alive? This was huge. Twilight then brought up the mention of rebellion, Connor knew that they had to rescue the princess'. It was the right thing to do. He continued to listen to her story when he learned of her friends fates. His mind then started thinking of Rainbow Dash; Connor went to flight school with her as a filly; they weren't exactly friends, but that was mostly his fault. Connor kept to himself a lot growing up, thus he was terrible at making friends. He had a huge crush on Rainbow Dash back then, but he was too shy to act on it. Come to think of it, he wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even know who he was... He snapped back to reality. "This is serious Connor, pull yourself together!" He said to himself as he continued to listen to Twilight's speech. His mind has the unfortunate tendency to drift off. As much as he tried to focus, all he could think of was how much danger Dash could be in. What could those evil ponies be doing to her at this very moment? He couldn't take it anymore. He knew right then he had to join the rebellion. He had to make sure that Rainbow Dash and her friends were safe. Then, a pony rushed the stage after Twilight and chaos ensued. Ponies began to scatter as the rebels ran to the hideout. Where did they say they were going to meet? "Dammit!" Connor cursed. He must have been too busy worrying about Dash, he couldn't remember where they said to meet! He lept from his cloud and began to soar through the air. "where did they go?!" If nothing else, to avoid public embarrasment from falling 15 feet onto his face. He stood up as dignately as possible, his soul diamond hovering around him. "So... um... what now?" Blaze decided it was only fair to release the mirage and the wards to let every pony in. Blaze stomped his hoof and said "Release" and the tree library became visible to the public. He spent most of the night searching in vain, but he knew they were around here somewhere. He noticed ponies were gathering in the library, that must be the place. Now as much as I think that gathering up every one of these diamonds are top priority, we can not rely on one pony no matter how powerful he may be. So I have decided on the best course of action. We will break ponies up into different teams." " One team will be devoted to finding these diamonds, and the team leader will be Chaos, who ever wants to team up with him is welcome to." "Another team will be devoted to keeping HQ safe. This tree will serve as our HQ for the time being. I will head that team." "One separate team will be devoted to gathering any information they can on Ven and his evil Darkhart Clan. And that team leader shall be Ivy." "Anypony have any questions?" We will eventually lead a full on assault on Darkhart Castle but we need Chaos's diamonds first. Our first priority though is gathering as much info on the matter as we can, so once Ivy has conducted a thorough investigation on the matter we shall not attack. Only defend." Blaze said, he looked over at Ivy and noticed she was deep in thought, "Is that okay with you Ivy." It seemed she didn't hear him the first time so he repeated himself once more... Every moment they spent preparing was another moment Dash and her friends were being held captive, and maybe tortured. As much as he wanted to rush over there now, he knew this was the best plan.
