Not completely finished yet, but would like some critique anyway.

What it says in the title. I'm trying some stuff I've never done before with a program I'm relatively new to, so I would like to have some feedback.

Edit:

*RAAAAAGE*

I'm trying to do the shading but my computer screen SUCKS at displaying contrast between colours. Can someone please tell me when I blunder?

Mouth is too high and missing a nose.

Ear should be angled in such a way that the opposite ear would make sense to be not visible. That, or keep the ear as-is and show the other ear that's behind the mane.

Round out the left elbow

Looks pretty awesome, great work!

1. Don't save as a jpg. Always png.

2. The wings look limp which isn't really a characteristic of a feather.

3. The sword's lines are too wobbly, I think the image would benefit from using straight lines on those.

Otherwise the form is surprisingly well done. Keep up the good work.

Silly Blue, that isn't the mouth, that's the outline for the snout. :P

Yeeeaah... I think I'll add the other ear.

More detail on face and body needed.

Aye aye! Will comply!

Sword looks a little plain,

Trust me, there's not much for me to work with.

Pretty much all that's left is the shading, but I'll cross that line when I get there.

*Sigh*

Great, several hours spent on the wings and the flaws are still noticeable. :(

Welp, back to the drawing board it is for me.

Also, I suck at drawing straight lines, any tips?

It looks like me.

I sure hope it does, otherwise I suck at drawing you. ;)

The left elbow is too near the hoof, or end of the leg. Maybe that's a wrist, but if it is, then there should be some sign that there's an elbow, too. The pony is missing a nose and the mouth is too high, maybe that's what you wanted though. The neck is bent back at a very uncomfortable-looking angle, which isn't that bad, but I'm not sure you would want it that way.

I like the way the wings and mane are made, very detailed and carefully done. The line is very smooth, too :) I really like your drawing.

Haven't had much time to work on it, but I hope this at least clears up the confusion around the facial structure. *nervous laughter*

(if this is supposed to be Cloud Chaser) the hair is supposed to have 2 colors.

You'll notice that at this point, the image is almost completely devoid of shading. All I can really say is: I'm getting there, I'm just not sure how I'm going to do it yet.

This is great!

And being the non-artistically-inclined brony that I am, I can't give much advice.

I just think the eye expression doesn't really fit the fact that there's a sword, but I don't know :P
