Following the plot of Eragon, we start off in a small village in the middle of a war that is soon about to happen. Our village is suddenly attacked by grotesque monsters who kill everyone in the village but us. We learn of our true origins from a dying bard, who sends us on our way to the mountains to find our dragons.

 

Would anyone be interested in something like this?

 

And for fights, I was thinking a D&D type battle system (With dice), such as-

 

1-2 would be a miss.

2-5 would be a hit, which depends on attack

6 would be a critical

 

We would all start out with 100 HP, but we are able to raise our stats by doing everyday things such as working out, or drinking a health potion that we can find. For the loot system (With dice), it will be-

 

1-4 Food

5 Special item

6 Weapon

 

You cannot simply abuse the system either, as you have a fatigue system for such.

You can only raise your stats a few times a day from everyday actions, but potions are unlimited.

 

We would have base stats as well, that could help in various situations.

 

We would have 10 points to but into our stats, and our base stats all have 5 to begin with.

The stats are:

 

Strength

Perception

Endurance

Charisma

Intelligence

Agility

Luck

I'm interested, do I have to have any knowledge of eragon, I know the premise of the story, but i've never read it. Also I haven't played d&d in 13 years, but I can easily research it. I really like the idea of using d&d as a base for the rp. Count me in, unless I don't fit the requirements. also is this human, pony or other?

Preferably teen.

Also, ponyville and canterlot doesn't exist in this world.

 

None of the canon cities do.

Okie dokie, yay more role playing. This is great experience for me, as my writing genre is non-fiction. I've always wanted to write fiction, but I've been too scared to do it.
