eh, when i watch ponies, id rather not have people talking if its coming through the same speaker/headphones, so doing a skype chat during the synchtube probably wouldnt be a good idea. the audio would get too weird with MLP and voice chat happening at once.

I guess it could go into the synchtube party! I would love to chat about the videos while watching them as long as nopony spammed the mic

I think I'm with Evilshy here. Trying to overlap the two wont be good either.

But then again the skype portion of it can always be optional so if you really don't want the commentary then you can just not join in the Skype call.
