6 (b6)

Still wrong. Let me show you how it's done.

1 (b10) = 1

1 (banything) = 1

10 (b10) = 10

10 (b8) = 8

10 (b5) = 5

20 (b10) = 20

20 (b8) = 16

20 (b5) = 10

100 (b10) = 100

100 (b8) = 64

100 (b5) = 25

10 (b54) = 54

EDIT: Also,

anything (banything) generally cannot exist

eg. 6 (b6) cannot exist, 9 (b9) cannot exist

1 (b1) technically cannot exist either.

12 (b12) and 99 (b99) and similar cases can exist however because they're not represented as single digits. However, they do represent completely different numbers to 12 (b10) and 99 (b10)

1 (b57)

Right?

I think I'm finally getting the hang of it

/serious

20 (b28)

I understand!!!!

The second decimal, since it was after 28, goes to 0, and the first, since the second was after 28, goes to 2! Right?

Basically, for two digit numbers, the first digit represents how many of the base number you have. The second digit represents a simple number.

eg. 58 (b10) = 4A (b12) (A representing 10 (b10))

For three digit numbers, the first digit represents how many squares of the base number you have. The second digit takes on the old job of the first digit, and the new third digit is allocated the second digit's old job.

It goes like that for numbers containing any amount of digits.

eg. 123576 (b10) contains one 105, two 104s, three 103s, five 102s, seven 10s and 6
