Got fluttershy from build-a-bear (yay ) and the #13 comic.

And of course another dog tag, but its a dupe.. Anyone want an alicorn amulet? Still in need of a Rarity here....

 

But also picked up Pinkie, and Fluttershy's dresses to complete the set I have . Oh and of course the fluttershy sound box

while they sound more like impersonations, they're still cute and nice.

 

Now I need a serious tutorial on fixing the hair up on these a bit

I think I gnarled the tips of Twilight and Rainbows hair a bit, so.... yeah I'm not even messing with FS and PP.

Heh, TBH one thing I tell non-fans (when asked. I don't preach, so unless specifically asked, I'll keep it to myself.) is that the comics are actually far higher in age level than the show and they should read them if nothing else. Yeah, the comics are pretty much everything good about the show with none of the flaws or short-comings. I'd honestly love it if they made spin-off based on the comics(a recursive spin-off?)

'Bout friggin' time. Apparently it arrived on Wednesday, but the carrier returned it to the post office because no one was home to pick it up. To make matters worse, he stuck the return notice in my mailbox instead of taping it to the front door or something, so I didn't even see it till I checked the mail last night. Ran out and picked her up at the post office this morning.

 

And...is it just me, or does it seem like her head's slightly bigger than Twilight's?

My Fluttershy and Doctor Whooves vinyl figurines just came in today!  I'm very happy with both of them; they are in excellent condition, which is nice after being somewhat disappointed by the Toys R Us exclusives.  Only two more until I have all of the ones that have been released so far (they should be coming in sometime early next month supposedly...).

 

 

I'm starting to run out of room on that shelf...  I'm also going to need to find a new place to store their boxes; that drawer is getting too full of stuff.

Did I ever mention my robes? got the Rainbow Dash and Derpy robes from Hot Topic recently too

Sadly a couple of problems cropped up

The Derpy one had the box for the large/XL (I like being able to crawl inside them like they're big blankets soooo warm inside...) and it was in fact the small medium

So had to take that back. Well.. didn't have too, I just wanted too. It did fit..

But anywho

Remember to check the tags on those..

 

But both suffered from an excess of loose threads

Derpy's mane and one pocket were falling off. This was after I wore them, Before I wore them they were fine-ish. But the loose threads.. = bad mojo

Rainbow's has a hole that opened in the bottom of one pocket too.

 

Luckily I do know a LITTLE about hand stitching so they were easy fixes after I went to my parents to raid my mothers sewing kit to find the right color threads (already have my own needle and such... I really need to get a machine though. Sewing is fun, and the things that can be made... /drool... I don't care what anyone thinks, it is not bad for a guy to know how to make things like this for crying out loud!)

 

Also got the Rainbow Dash "Character case" for my iPhone.. tis funny cause it has one of her eyes blue but annoying that you cannot physically reach the loud/silence switch without a toothpick like instrument.

Its nice and thick, and almost makes it impossible to tell theres a phone in it from the face side of the case.

Not one ounce of protection for the phones face however... kinda scary. Thankfully, by right, the iPhone's design is fairly resistant to most basic bumps and scrapes.

Just not major ones... Most phones are busted by drops to the sides, which will shatter it completely.

 

Then I went and got the RD and Spike Hoodies.

Spike usually gets the "Oh look its barney!" treatment though.. sad given Spike is OLDER than barney by a long shot last I checked..

 

And RD's mane fabric is rather heavy and long in the face...

Since RD's has wings on it though I want to get a red bull and walk around with that in my hand for kicks.. See if anyone gets the joke

 

Also found the latest comic, which sadly makes Fluttershy out to be an animal hoarder, that considers herself before the creatures she's caring for. But truly believes she's acting in their favor...

I've seen people that act like that, and it is NOT pretty in any way, shape, or form

 

But they need these robes in better manufacture and more characters

Derpy's is funny with the cutie mark.. its like its saying "Bubble butt"... lol

Went to get a vinyl collectable today, and they had a very small selection, but they had the mini mystery ones for less than half as much at buy 2 get 1 free, so I picked up three of those instead. The results?

Well, I didn't get Rainbow Dash like I wanted, but they're still pretty awesome. The black is kinda cool actually.

Now all I need is a good plushie for a normal price. ha, good luck right?

I just went to Hot Topic earlier today and I bought two Octavia vinyl figures.

 

They're having their "Buy 1, Get 1 for 50% Off" sale, so I bought one for an upcoming gift exchange that'll be taking place at my next meetup, and of course the other one for myself.

 

Fun Fact: I went to HT and bought the two figures just a few minutes after leaving Barnes & Noble, where I just purchased a Double Feature DVD which included 2001: A Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange. Isn't that weird?

Just got in the mail today:

 

"Stock Photo" (cause my camera is M.I.A.)

 

While I am not a huge fan of their large figures, usally due to flaws in the assembly and paint jobs on them.   I find the small ones here a large jump in overall quality.   Got mine from Toywiz.com  for about 65$ (Durring a sale)   

 

I have yet to see any retail stores around me get them in yet tho.
