Like I need another reason for ponies to avoid me, but the topic intrigued me so I'll give it a go.

 

I never liked Kingdom Hearts, I never understood the appeal of Disney combined with Final Fantasy.

 

I don't like the Harry Potter Movies, the books were okay just not something I was hyped over.

 

I don't like MLP:FiM fan shipping. Some of it is fine and I can see some pairings work, however the "Fluttermac" and "Dislestia" ones I couldn't care less for. Also the Spike & Rarity ship...I'll just say I want it torpedoed.

 

I love FPS, though I will admit the community is filled with pretentious douchebags (if you're nice and play fps this statement isn't directed at you)

 

I hate the Lol community for what it has become, it used to be about having fun now it's filled with ponies who only care about winning. (Again if you're not whom I am talking about, I just haven't met you yet and I apologize.)

 

I don't like Dragonball Z (and onward) and Death Note. Dragonball Z didn't give any sense of tension imo because any problem could be solved with the dragon balls and everything would be put back like nothing happened. I thought Death Note's animation was okay, but the concept of the anime...I thought it was boring.

 

Though I may disagree with some opinions, I respect everyone regardless.

 

Now to wait in line to be burned at the stake.

Just putting this out there; while the development of Team Fortress 2 started four years before the development of Battlefront, I do agree that the games are quite similar, and that it's probably most accurate to say that they both where slightly varied clones of Quake.

I have a number of them, but let's just say whatever comes to mind.

 

Happiness is overrated. If our ancestors were content banging rocks on other rocks and eating bark, and the next generation and so on, we wouldn't be here. With content the need to innovate is absent. Sorry, I have asthma and I like the inhalers keeping me alive. I like my bike and I like learning new things. If I was content there wouldn't be a want for me to learn, and without learning you are susceptible to be controlled by those who are educated. If I was content I wouldn't care about eating, I would starve. If you are happy, chances are you are content. Don't get me wrong, without happiness there would be no reward for learning, but being happy all the time isn't as great as it sounds. Not to mention you get used to the pampering and once the happiness stops the pain hurts so much worse. Balance is needed.

 

There is nothing wrong with Twilight (book), Justin Beiber, Cloppers, Friday (song), ect. As long as they aren't hurting one it's fine. Twilight was directed at young females, alike my little pony despite in my opinion being less tasteful if you like it that's your thing. Sure, Justin made it big, that's media, kid got lucky don't hate on him for it. As for the people who who "clop," that is their decision, and for those who draw it, that is their decision as well. I have no right telling them how to spend their time. Live and let live, each to their own, but quite frankly if I'm to be honest I don't even care, it's how people want to be, so let them live a little. Again, if it isn't hurting anyone it is fine.

Sweets don't taste good. I was raised on watered down juice and a predisposition to not having much of a sweet tooth. American candy is disgustingly sweet and super dark chocolate is amazing. I need to move somewhere where candy doesn't taste like sugar and flavoring.

 

Television and internet is absolutely disgusting, you pay money to stream channels which they actually put commercials, and if you want more channels with commercial then you have to pay more, and they stream channels that are commercials weather you want it or not. You close in on your download limit faster with youtube adds and having to pay to watch adds is the most revolting thing. Actually I bet a number of people will agree.

 

The military and cops of america are not great people. Most of the time they are not patriotic, often just doing it for money, and some of the time are just in it for a license to kill. I don't dislike any of them except the mean ones, but I don't think they are these wonderful people we make them to be.

Most of these I've probably been pretty clear about before.

 

Political (or related):

 

- I am not fond of organized religion, at all.

- Even though I am very liberal on social issues (and even a feminist), I can not bring myself to support abortion.

- I don't have the great amount of respect for the military that everybody else does.

- Suicide is everybody's right, and calling it 'selfish', 'weak', or any terms like that are ignorant to the realities of how suicide actually happens. (And there are members here who actually admitted to hating LGBT people? Wow.)

 

Other:

 

- Spring is the most depressing season and has absolutely no redeeming qualities aside from the pretty flowers.

- Winter is the best season by a wide margin

- Butterflies are no less disgusting than other bugs.

- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess > Skyward Sword and The Wind Waker

- I don't hate Twilight, Justin Bieber, Naruto, etc. or anything else that it is cool to hate on right now.

- I believe that entertainment is for the most part subjective and snobs/elitists of any kind that go around calling certain things 'garbage' get on my last nerves. (I'm mostly talking about music here, although it applies all around)

- I'm sick and tired of sprite/2D gaming. At least when it comes to Pokemon and handheld Zelda. I want to see those series move on. The 3DS is near the power of the GCN. The excuses are gone.

- Classical music is great. Not 'boring' or 'relaxing'.

- Woodwind/Brass instruments are the best kind of instruments. (That one was expected, I'm sure. =P)

- I do not like Led Zeppelin.

- I hate drinking and have no desire to do drugs. It's all so pointless to me.

- I like Generation V of Pokemon, and I even like quite a few of the Pokemon designs.

- I hate zombie stuff. Or pretty much any supernatural creatures like werewolves and vampires. However, zombies take the cake because people are way too obsessed with them these days.

- Even though I'm technically an 90's kid I'm not obsessed with everything from the 90's.

- King of the Hill is one of my favorite cartoons and did not deserve to get replaced by Family Guy 3.0.

I have no unpopular opinions I care to post, really. Well, I do, actually, but I'm gonna keep them positive:

• Humanity isn't actually as awful as most people make it out to be. Some people can be good, some can be bad, it is all a matter of opinion and world views. They just chose to focus on the negative aspects and are more likely to pay attention to when something goes wrong than when something goes right. The news media are a great example of this. But it's human nature. If everything's okay, you don't really need to pay it much mind because it doesn't need to be fixed. Whereas the opposite with bad stuff.

• Speaking of which, I do not see "realism" as being overtly cynical and negative about something. I see it as being balanced in both the pros and cons. Not looking at the world with rose-colored glasses and being overly optimistic, nor being overly pessimistic.

• I liked that one Super Mario Bros. movie.

• Final Fantasy IX is my favorite Final Fantasy.

• Spice World was a hilarious and charming movie. I love those Spice Girls running around nonsensically!

• Unova is my favorite of all the regions in Pokémon. Few annoying Surf routes, and great cities.

• Earth ponies are best ponies! I love their industriousness, and the fact that they're so physically strong and tough. It is quite appealing, even if it doesn't fit my personality as well as a unicorn.

• Referring to the above: The Ninth Doctor is my favorite of all the Doctors. And I rather enjoyed his relationship with Rose. He seemed to have a great connection with her that felt genuine and loving.

Everyone has these, some of mine are:

 

- I have a dislike for military shooters, I dislike the movement style, I dislike the guns. I don't have fun playing them, so Battlefield, Call of Duty and it's ilk can go into their respective pits of fire for all I care.

 

- I don't place my liking of ponies very high on the list of things I like, there are many things I find much more enjoyable then ponies, including video games, Doctor Who and Stargate to name a few.

 

- I don't listen to radio, especially popular radio stations, I find the music on it to be annoying, bland and uninteresting, I prefer listening to the music I like which doesn't play on the radio. For all the social stigmatization that doesn't deserve.

 

- I thought River Song was an interesting character like all the time. No matter how others seemed to dislike her.

Dubstep is uniformly awful. I don't dignify it by considering it a "genre" of music, as it's not, it's modulating bass and synth waves. BFD, people have been doing that for decades and it has not gotten any cooler. I seriously can't wait until every kid with a laptop and Fruity Loops moves on from this terrible fad.

 

 

Most anime is way too anime-ish for my tastes. Some shows really lay it on thick and don't seem to realize it, and it makes me feel ridiculous. I much prefer anime that has either great storytelling and style (Cowboy Bebop, NGE, Akira) or some meta humor and a sense of humor about itself (Excel Saga, FLCL, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi).

I hate the idea of military and don't know how to feel when I see such great and caring people around here who are also soldiers.

I even dislike the movies where guns are shot in uniforms (that is, I prefer suit violence, such as in Bourne, Matrix, James Bond, or Equilibrium)

I actually think J. B. (Justin Bieber, not James Bond xD) is a nice guy who could've been much more of a douchebag considering the amount of attention (negative or positive) he gets

I hate alcohol and cigarrets, but I think that mankind should do some deeper research on hallucinogenes. I also agree that halucinogenic drugs can be taken responsibly and their usage is far more justifiable than use of alcohol.
