He shut his eyes and went to sleep. but with each word that comes into his mind he worry's what will every pony thinks of him , he shuts it all out seeing that worrying about the future will only bring him Paine. The Original 571 Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Quip finished looking up what he needed in the two books, "Perfect, i think i have this planned out pretty well" he looked at his watch, which was alot older than him, "Ah, i guess its time for bed, i will return the books tomorrow when im passing by" he walked over to his bed and settled in, he yawned and closed his eyes, "Hm... a party... i didn't expect that..." he whispered to himself before he dozed off. He stood up, took some fruits from the bag beside his bed, and stuffed it in his mouth. Mild went down to his kitchen and boiled some water. He made some tea and put it in a flask and went on his way to get an outfit. Outside, the streets of Ponyville were still relatively quiet. Mild mumbled to himself. He got his favorite food, honey oats. after he eaten he went to watch some tv to see what was happening in Equestria. He began to think to himself."Another pointless morning". Ever since he moved here his live has gotten significantly better. While he was on his jogging route he ran into a mare on the way to the Spa. He waved and smiled nicely to her. "Ello!" Just earlier, perhaps 5 minutes ago, she had received a letter that she was invited to a party at the Royal Canterlot Castle. Now, she was looking among the shops of Ponyville, searching for a place she could buy a dress gown. She hadn't found a place yet, though she had found a quite exquisite restaurant where she had enjoyed a nice breakfast. She continued along the small road, shop after shop, none of them selling dresses of any kind. About to give up, she arrived at Rarity's shop. Why hadn't she just thought of this earlier? Rarity was brilliant at creating masterpieces of clothing. Many ponies visited here to buy there clothes, most of them rich. The reason ponies didn't come here to often is because they thought everything would be super expensive. The thing was, the dresses Rarity sold were quite cheap, only 25 bits. She strolled in to meet Rarity, and, hopefully, come out with a beautiful gown, only 25 bits taken out of her purse. The Original 571 Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Quip woke up and looked at the time, "Hm... i could sleep in, but who has time for sleeping in, there could be other things to do in the day" he got out of bed and cooked up some eggs and bacon as fast as he could and gobbled them down, he opened the door to his shack and grabbed a small pouch of about 10 bits, not much but enough to get a suit that looks half decent, he decided to keep the search in ponyville since he didn't want to pay for the train, there was only one shop for clothes and that was Rarity's, but its not like she only does mares. Quip opened the door and smiled over at Rarity, "Hey Rarity! i'm kinda low on funds, i hope that's not too bad, i need a custom made suit for a party that's coming up in Canterlot on Wednesday" he walked on in and sat down, "Oh yes, ive heard about that party from a couple ponies, i have no idea WHY I wasn't invited but that doesn't matter right now, what matters is getting you the best suit you can afford" she told him while walking over to him, "Stand up please" she measured him and floated over some cloths, "Hm... what color would you like it?" she took a couple more measures while holding up a few colors to his face "That fine shade of green" he pointed at a green cloth slightly darker than his skin, "I will see what i can do but it might take a while" It was about 15 minutes till she was done putting it together, "There, why don't you try it on" she floated the suit over to Quip as he walked into the changing room, he came out and smiled, "Do i look good?" "Oh just fabulous, your going to be the center of the party!" "Oh i wouldn't say that" he walked over to a mirror and turned slowly, "But yeah, i do look good don't i?" he walked back over to Rarity and handed over his small pouch, "Its only 10 bits, i hope it will do" he told her, she smiled at him and kindly refused, "I can't take your money, there are plenty of rumors going around about how poor you are, i couldn't bear to take that little amount you have left" she held a hoof up to her forehead and sighed, Quip smiled and hugged her, "Thank you, ill repay you some day" he walked out and took the suit with him back to his house. "Why is it of dire importance I get a dress today?" she asked her asleep pet dragon, Eldrich. "Oh, what's the use. She usually sleeps until 9:30." Esme sighed. "Well, I better be off then." She wrote a note to the sleeping baby dragon and flew out the door and into the breezy Chicacolt air and headed towards the neighboring town of Ponyville. She trotted into Sugarcube corner and payed for the sweets and then walked over to the dressmaker's shop. "Hello, Rarity. I've been invited to a party and I need a new dress. Got anything?" Esme said as she swag open the door. "Oh, you too? Sure, Darling, making you a dress would be my pleasure." Rarity said as she used her magic to start designing the dress. Even though it was a twenty hour wait, and thirty bits extra for pouting the cloths he had on hold. "Mrs. Pine was right, the suit doesn't look half bad on me, but it's a tad big... Oh, I know! I'll just get it tailored at the boutique!" Mild grinned and headed towards the Carousel boutique. It would be a terrible party for her if she felt uncomfortable throughout the whole. She went in and realized there were already a few ponies there, but then, releasing a sigh of release, none of them had Aloe as the Spa Attendant. Spotting Aloe behind a desk a few meters from her, she cantered over and asked, "Aloe, could you please give me a full spa treatment? It's for a really important matter." He didn't want to put on a eye patch because he would look like a homeless pony. As for his wing he didn't want any pony to notice that he had a torn wing at the party. "I wonder if I'll meet anypony... special." she said. "Who are you talking to?" asked Eldrich. "Oh, nopony. I was just thinking aloud about the party coming up. She didn't have any idea what to do so she decided to go back home after spending a nice afternoon at the spa. She stepped out into the windy city and was about to fly off, when she was stopped by Eldrich. "Get some food while you're out. We're running low on gemstones." the baby dragon said. "Ya know, Eldy, finding gemstones is kinda hard when you don't have magic to help you. I'd have to go all the way back to Rarity's to get some."
