Creamy Arty 6,251 June 17, 2013 Share June 17, 2013 (edited) Everyone who hasn't tried the game in some time due to technical difficulties might should give it another go. Between game patches and AMD's driver updates, it's now playable on high settings with a decent framerate. Below are a few several screenshots how it looks for me, and even in heavy action I pull an average of 40 FPS. Most of the time it's around 55-60. Looks a little better in-game. I have a Radeon 6970, by the way. And doesn't the squad beacon look kind of like a Thermos? As far as vehicular combat goes, I'm quite adept with the Magrider. That's the only vehicle for which I possess any noteworthy skill. @NewCalamity knows his way around a Prowler, so when playing with him as TR that's normally what we start with, and I've been certing out my Harasser to give us a different armored experience sometimes, or just when we gotta go fast; I have the P525 Marauder on it, a 40mm grenade launcher that does quite well against infantry. I have only played a little of it but, sadly noone wants to play with me. I have pretty bad internet so, I will probably lag in a lot of servers. Added you. I also joined the planetside 2 group that strongrebel set up. If there is a particular server you play or something let me know. I haven't played Planetside 2 before so don't know how games are set up. Also If you don't see me around in planetside 2/I leave the group it may be because my laptop can't handle the game, it seems like something that is a bit steep for a dual core with only a ATI 5470hd graphics card and 4gb ram. I guess I'll know soon enough. Try running a search of existing threads before starting one, if you haven't done so before. I stopped playing this for a while and only recently started again.
