Stormgiggle turned into a black, toxic ooze as soon as assassin landed on him. He immediately engulfed Assassin in the shadowy liquid, and begin to corrode Assassin's mind, body, and soul all at once. Assassin had seconds to escape before he was no more. Even if he did escape, he would be horribly mutilated.

 

 

 

We should visit one of the MLPFiM comics. Preferably Issue 19 because Starswirl's study is unlocked, there's the possibility that we can find alternate Twilight, and we can ambush Luna and stop Sombra's transformation before Celestia has the chance to corner her doppelganger-counterpart doubleself reflection whatchamacallit thingamajig. ...And also because Celestia goes nuts and turns into a Supernova/Solar Flare during the showdown.

I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to the comics. You'll have to create the setting and characters we'll be interacting with. But be warned, Twilight will follow us into the comics. She can travel through dimensions with ease, so trying to trap her inside or outside of a comic won't work.

"Alright, here's the plan; We sneak into the palace and into the underground catacombs. Then we make our way to Starswirl's study. (Hopefully, by the time we reach it, the Mane Six would have already traveled to alternate Equestria.) Once we loot the place, we'll use the weird Mirror of Erised to hop dimensions. Once we reach there, we should hide underneath the garden balcony of (Aweso... *ahem*, I mean Good) Sombra's castle. When the main cast appears, so will alternate (Evil) Luna. When that happens, we pop out from hiding and drain the evil into one of your spare soul shards. Without Luna, alternate Celestia's evil plan will fall apart like sand in our now non-existent fingers. Sombra will surely help us on our quest... if this works out.

Chances are, this will be way harder than what it sounds like, but hey, we'll give it our best shot, right?"

 

Quick synopsis of Reflections Saga; Celestia traveled to other worlds with the young Starswirl the Bearded. Celestia falls in love with the Good King Sombra. Romeo and Juliet plot twist. Now because of Timey-wimey stuff, there's an evil Mane Six as well as Evil Royal Sisters. Gallifrey/Earth collision event happens. Twilight and friends capture Evil Celestia (and Luna) and absorb the evil... into Sombra. Sombra is now evil ((again) but he still loves Celestia). The end.

"Sounds easy enough. Alright, here goes nothing!*

 

Stormgiggle transformed into a shadowy haze, and drifted into the castle, slipping through the corridors. The guards couldn't see his non corporeal form, so he traveled into the catacombs with impunity. Once inside the catacombs Stormgiggle returned to his solid form. 

 

"Now to wait until Dan catches up with me..."

*Dan The Pony does the sneaky sneaks to slip past the (somehow always unaware) guards*

*And by "Sneak" the Narrator means "Walks right past"*

*Dan eventually makes his way through the underground labyrinth of book-lined corridors

"Oh, hi Stormgiggle. Have you seen these guys? They don't even ask what anyone is doing here at this time of night! Unbelievable!"

(What neither of the Dimension Hoppers know is that today is National Princess Hug Day, a day where Fluffle Puff replaces the Princess for twenty-four hours to give hugs to anyone who needs them. Anyone can just waltz into the throne room without so much as a suspicious glance.)

One of the most frustrating things about Starswirl is that although he likes to keep everything nice and neat and labeled, he also likes to use words that few people ever use. Just look for a big ol' sign that reads 'Athenaeum'. That should lead us to where he did most of his studying and research. Also, keep a lookout for a giant, house-sized penny with the face of Pony Aberham Lincoln on it."

*Dan shoves open the large metal doors of the chamber and enters*

*The Athenaeum is full of various magical relics and breakthroughs in wizardy wizardness of wizardry*

*Dan spots several small patches of cotton candy and cake frosting*

"Yup, it seems as though Twi, and company have already been through here"

"Alright, let's take what we need and get outta' here."

*Stormgiggle takes several bones from the hydra skeleton, storing them in his bag of holding.*

 

*Stormgiggle rummages through Starswirl's magical notes and theories, taking some of them.*

 

"I didn't see anything else of interest, Dan. Did you find anything?"

"I found a wand core made of Orichalcum. I could use it to improve my Staff of the Void.

I also found a suit of armor forged from Arcanite.

Man I love Arcanite. It's Anti-Magia Extera (residual magic) properties make it near impossible to lift with magic and makes it much harder to magically poison, freeze, or burn the wearer without direct, physical contact [Enchanted Poison Sythe = successful poison VS Fire Projectile = unsuccessful burn]."

Stormgiggle and Dan leapt through the portal, and a terrible sight awaited them. Twilight was already at King Sombra's castle, and had just finished violently slaying the mane six. She was covered in their blood; and their corpses were piled around her. Evil Luna and Celestia, and King Sombra looked on in horror. 

 

"Ah!" Twilight smiled when she saw Dan and Stormgiggle. "You've given me quite the chase, trying to catch up with you two! But now that I'm here, we can talk things out like reasonable ponies!"
