Gatekeeper Giggle 2,902 January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 Dan, no answer Is an incorrect one. It's all up to individual interpretation. Life is an endless sea of shifting variables, and what was once true a few seconds ago can become false a few seconds later. In this world of ours, there are no absolutes. No answer I could ever give could ever be completely true or completely false. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~~~~~~~ 1,174 January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 what is 1+1? you could say 2. that would be correct and would make complete sense you could say an addition problem. that would also be correct and would make complete sense you could say a question. yet again, that would be correct and would make complete sense. but saying "edgar" does not mean that you are correct. But 1 + 1 = Edgar could indeed be a correct answer, given the correct circumstances. After all, what is Edgar? You never specified. And what does one stand for? One what? It could conceivably be one of anything, couldn't it? Even these things that you take for absolute truth are variable and up for interpretation. For instance, I see Edgar as a very poor man, living his life in a third world country. Every day, starting at sunrise an ending at sunset, he goes out on his rickety old canoe and fishes in the river, desperately trying to catch enough fish to feed his wife and daughter. He loves his family, they are everything to him. To him, it's as simple as one daughter + one wife = Edgar. His family completes him, without even one of them, he's not Edgar anymore. But let's simplify things even further, shall we? Let's take the equation 2=1. I know what you're thinking, It's not an equation because 2 never equals 1, right? Not always. Don't two gloves equal one pair of gloves? In that instance, two does equal one. See? No absolutes. No answer is completely correct or completely wrong.
