Its largely a joke that I try and overpower Sunburn, sort of push the lines with how powerful an Earth Pony can be without god-modding. I've had him defeat Nightfall and Vinyl Blade by himself before, as well as lead a prison escape that managed to hold off until Wits got involved. Prolly would have worked if I hadn't nerfed the attempt to because others WERE god-modding.

Knowing Sunburn? Romantic advances aren't really his thing. He's more of a seduction guy, or just pay her off when he needs to.

If anyone is a fun of Homestuck, they'll get this, but I could see this working. Sapphire as the Auspistice, Speedy and Wits as "warring parties".

Largely, there are two parties. They cannot get along almost no matter what, they just keep fighting.

 

However, the auspistice steps in. They act as a facilitator, who helps the two party reconcile their differences. They make communication, even romance or friendship, possible between the two parties.

Largely, they do.

 

Think of them like high-level DnD characters. At some point, you stop worrying about the kobolds and troglodytes. They just become boring, just something you slide over. Now what you really want to do is fit the Pit Lord and the deities, because they are interesting, and they challenge you. You want to improve, to grow, but you can't do that without challenges and foes equal to your power. Wits is cocky, but not without cause. Sunburn knows he is strong, and does not overestimate it. They are not so much prideful or boastful as they are self-aware. Much like me, since they are aspects of myself.
