If you are going to do so thought I imagine you'll need to do it coldly and logically, as that's the kind of mare she is, She probably won't call off the war unless she profits by it.

With the way shes acted here, i figure she would probably just through a dagger at us when we meet her.

 

I think we might have better luck talking to any of the others, like RD or AJ. Maybe Fluttershy if we somehow get through the Forest.

... To be honest. None of them are really good options. AJ will cut our horns. Flutters is trapped in her forest that will murder us. I have no idea what RD would do plus we can't fly. Twilight might stick us in some cell and do who knows what to us.. And Rarity might murder us herself if things don't go well.

 

Pretty much anywhere we go we can get hurt... or most likely die. Damn Jeez when Yoorik made the Houses he also made their leaders all very unreasonable and difficult. I have no idea how diplomacy would work.

 

Hmmm... is there a spell that can make our horns invisible?  Maybe we can get a hold of AJ. No wait she would tell we are unicorns with that eye of hers... hmmm....

It's small, just about pony sized. That's its significance. And while it's power is just under 1 horse power, once modified, it should get more power output. And at the size of a pony, ponies won't have to be "wasted" in battle.

And I don't like the idea of the vital point of a pegasus being cut off by Stormwing, their wings have bones too and none of the people with Pegasus ponies in other houses are complaining.

Everyone has been arguing about this for pages upon pages. Now lets just drop it. Earth ponies are stronger than normal ponies, so if applejack is a strong earth pony...than I guess she is a hulk.

Or maybe its just magic, how is it Pegasus ponies can walk on clouds ? Or how is it Unicorns can levitate anything ? Magic. So that's how things work and we should all just deal with it.

With. A. Long. Sword. Not a short sword. Not while holding the deer. And well, let's be honest - bones of deer are nothing in size compared to a unicorn horn, when its' a mare.

 

The thing which makes a difference, it's neign impossible to aim at wings, that's why they design to be cut off rather easily. And why horns usually designed to be cut of not so easily, because it's the thirst thing your opponent can reach. That's just it.

 

I do not care about random NPC's, but for flip sake - at least make it look like it took some real effort, not just laid back cut off horns.

 

I do not think anyone would pass if i trapped a pegasi and easily tear off his wing with magic. I would get swarmed with "That's not possible", so let's keep it all balanced? 

 

I mean, it's not fun Rping in a game, where apparently any sharp stick which just casually swings by cuts off your horn and that's it. You done goofed. Because a wing is usually folded. And you can't just cut off Earth ponies strength. So why Unicorns should be horribly balanced in a bad sense?

I'm quite serious, i will just outright ignore dehorning if it's going to be "as easy" as thing to do as it is now. Cut it off? Great. It just grew right back. After all, everyone reassured me it's keratin. Which is hair. Which grows back.

As for the pegasus wing cutting thing. I admitted you were right about that. So stop bringing that up because you cant think of good answers for the other things I pointed out.

And if you were to capture a pegasus and chop off its wings with a sword than no one would say anything...because it is possible, we all admit it.

 

If you REFUSE to accept everything everyone has said, than I guess we are stuck with one option. We're just gonna have to say its magic. Unicorns can levitate objects, Pegasai can walk on clouds, and Earth Ponies are very very strong and are Master Craftsmen.

Humans are quite strong with a long sword. He cut through dead animal, who was empties out. Which is another reason why it went through.

Well, and i do not think it's possible for earth pony to hold a unicorn captive, take out his sword and immediately cut off her horn while doing that. With a short sword. SHORT SWORD. I'm pretty skimpy about this.

 

Oh and as Yoorik said, Unicorns Oc's are pretty much only for levitating things. Which is useless, when you tink about it. Against flying and being uber strong and ignoring your pitiful attempts at telekenesis, this is as useless as it goes. 

 

But as far as it goes, yes i will refuse to acknowledge it as a proper thing, until it's not ridiculously easy to do. It's a flipping only reason unicorns are "supposed" to be good, it's not to be just "Oh, sorry i bumped into you. You horn fell of? Well, unlucky you"

 

If you want to be so close to the show, well - there was anvil dropping on Twilights horn and it's okay. And don't start "she is special" crud.

More about this, really? Fine I guess I have to go over this again. As far back as 500bc there have been weapons capable of hacking off limbs and cutting bone, some as short as 10 inches long. One example would be the Xiphos, the Spartan Short Sword. Against an unarmored opponent it could cut off arms and legs with ease, and with a good swing could cause decapitation. These weapons were just steel, and very basic at that. Earthborn has advanced to the point of creating basic black powder machinery, about this point we see the evolution of the saber and other curved weapons. These were unbelievably deadly, able to slice a person in half at the torso. Next time you complain that de-horning isn't possible with a short blade just remember that the horn is basically, well, only a small piece of bone with no flesh to protect it and a direct link t the brain. It's more of a tactical disadvantage than a boon.
