Paradox smiles, rolls his eyes, and embraces the fluff. "I bet this is exactly what you were looking for, huh?" He gently nuzzled her cheek. "Don't worry, I'll always be here to give you hugs." He also moved to Chrissy and booped her nose. "Aw, c'mon, I was just making a joke. Though, you gotta admit, the queen of changelings, stuck in a ball of fur? Hilarious!" He giggled a bit.

Psych's eyes went wide, the fact that her lips were against his catching him completely off guard. They slowly closed as he pushed into it, but just as quickly as it had happened, it was over. He was left wanting more, but instead got a little tickle on his nose. "Y-yeah... nine..." He couldn't really clear his mind... Until footsteps started coming his way. He qhickly spread his sight and exited the room, trying to avoid anyobe who might get upset with him being there as he made his way to the rear exit of the building.

“Ah think he is,” she says. The big stallion lumbered over slowly, tucking his head a bit and blushing in his suit. He stood there kinda awkwardly.   His low voice came out strong enough though, “Hi.”

Veiled Spike looks at Big Mac through her own sunglasses and said to him, "Hi. I'm glad that you came to attend our conversation. We were having a discussion on whether or not you might be interested in coming to my art showcase on Heart and Hooves Day. Interested to come? I can figure out other plans if you cannot attend or do not wish to. Both of these reasons are fine with me."

@@Octavia's Bow

Wilhelm bowed to the Princess deferentially as she landed, a brief flick of the gaze towards the new star the only evidence to show that he had noticed it. At her comment, he laughed, a sincere and bright sound. "My stars? Your Majesty.." He paused for a moment, thinking, and then continued. "Luna... I merely have the distinct pleasure of observing the work of a master artist on a ever-changing canvas. Every night, I look to the sky, and though I arguably spend the most time staring at it, I can't own the objects present in the sky in any way more than I may own a Van Gogh, though I daresay it's more beautiful by far." At the conclusion of his remark, his cheeks turned the faintest shade more red.

At her next words, however, Wilhelm stayed quiet for a moment, and if anypony listened hard enough, they could probably hear the whirring of the veritable supercomputer in his head turning the problem over and attempting to find a response that wouldn't make him look like.. a idiot? No, that wasn't it. He was technically beyond that now. A.. a what? He sectioned off the ongoing discussion of putting words to the feeling and paused for a moment more, taking off his glasses and polishing them with a self-conscious air. Slipping them back on, he spoke, hesitantly at first, but then growing into a more self-assured tone. "My lady, I either may be worse than I've ever been or far better than I have any right to be. I'm not sure yet."

At this cryptic remark, Wilhelm half-smiled and turned to the carefully-planned tableau, touching a match to the candle at the center of the blanket. The wick flared and settled to a warm blaze, lighting up the surrounding area. Over his shoulder, Wilhelm said "So, what would you like to do first? I could offer you a drink, or.. well, you choose." After some rummaging in the basket, Wilhelm came up with two thin-stemmed wineglasses and a bottle of Southern Equestrian red.

(It is to my horror and shame that I was not one of the first to reply! >.< )

I freeze and my pupils shrink - for a brief but terrified moment, I worry that I've done this to her on accident somehow. Given an entire second to think, though, my mind registers what is actually happening, and I relax. I put my front hooves out in a hug around her as my ears flop back, and after another moment of hesitation, join in the kiss with a passion that completely surprises me, and quickly lose myself in the bliss with a happy, humming chuckle.

(If this continues for more than a good ten seconds, though, I would try gently cutting it off, and sit next to her instead of across from her.)

(I also have some dialogue in store, but I wouldn't cut her off so I'm waiting for a moment to speak where I wouldn't have to roleplay her to do it (ie, have her finish up) )

(A wise decision that I very much so appreciate)

It lasts for a while, before she breaks it, and blushes. She plays with her mane awkwardly, before looking at the landscape pass her by. The train seems to be passing through a desert tthough: not much to look at. You notice she’s blushing hard.

I take a sip of my hot chocolate in the moments while my mind comprehends what just happened. Tens of different things I could say go through my mind, but uncertainty keeps me from saying any one of them. I vaguely consider that perhaps we should talk about the mission ahead, but reconsider as I realize I'll have a lot of time looking at it in the observatory. The thought strikes me, though, that this is perhaps the first time a pony has shown this kind of affection to me. I just barely met her, but I like what I know.

I start to realize that I really have nothing I'd like to say in response to that. So instead, I get up from my spot across from her and move next to her, sitting rather close, leaning ever so slightly towards her. "I-it's okay." I finally say in response to her blushing. Then, a clear thought penetrates the clouds of mental confusion; "I like you, too. Let's get to know eachother a bit more, shall we? - We'll have plenty of time to talk about the moon mission when we're looking at it at the observatory. Soo, what do you think of a cozy evening in front of a fireplace, reading about astrophysics and sipping hot chocolate?" As I speak, I gesture in front of us with a hoof, as if revealing the imaginary fireplace where the other bench sits, all while wearing a somewhat happy and excited smile.

Steelhide took a few moments to absorb this information. "I am greatly honored, though I feel like I have not done anything to deserve such a position..." Steelhide trailed off and then thought for a moment. "If you believe I am worthy for such a post, I am willing to assume the rank and all responsibility that comes with it. I know I am different then others in my view of the world, but my personal feelings will not take priority over any duty I am assigned to. I only hope that I do not bring dishonor to myself or the title in which you offer. With that being said..." Steelhide took a breath. He reached and slowly took the chess piece from Dusk...

Hope blushed as well and gave her a nuzzle. "I-if you don;t mind company, I would gladly escort you back to your home." He explained. The unicorn instinctively stopped himself from tapping his hooves nervously in anticipation, only then deciding to stand.

“If that is your wish, I do not mind. Perhaps you will choose to stay in kind,” she winks a bit, though you detect a faint blush. She stands to leave, “Now is a good time to away, or you may have to stay the day.” She smiles a bit at that thought, though the warning is clear: The Everfree is a dangerous place, not to be taken lightly. If you stay to long, her home would be the best place to be.

Hope frowned.

"On second thought, I would just be dead weight. Would probably end up getting you killed."

The stallion seemed genuinely unsure about all this. It was a wonder he wasn't pacing neurotically.

"I wish I could accompany you, wise shamaness. I really do."

Ezekiel at last made it to the waterfall. He had been traveling for a few days now and the waterfall was the next land marker on his map. He removed the hood from his cloak to reveal a Zebra buck with a short cut mane and stripes sharply black and white. Ezekiel set his bags down and just took a moment to drink in the atmosphere of the waterfall and river it poured into.

(Sorry guys. I've been stressed out and tired recently. I was kinda hoping to get a moment or two where I was happy, but after this most recent screw-up at work, that could be a while. I'm actually a little worried about my job right now. Tell you about it in the OOC)

(Also, Congratz Chikorita on your staff stuff! Sorry if I'm like super overdue on that)

Beta then perks up a bit. "Hmmm, ice cream huh? Well then, I've got the best place I can take you. The local Ponyville ice cream parlor! It's got all the different ice cream flavors. You won't have to worry about a flavor you like not being served here because it will be there. So come on!"

“Mkay. Sounds fun.” She smiles at you and gives you a very quick peck on the cheek, “It’s a date then. Lead the way, Sir Beta.”

You are sucked into her fur as if by some strange, powerful gravity. Crysalis is released unceremoniously on the ground. Puff, confused, looks around for you and makes urgent noises at Cryssi while she openly laughs at you.

He leaves relatively un-hassled, though the rear entrance is not very glamorous. Or well-lit, for that matter. A noisy side-street runs that area of the building, though the sound-proofing wouldn’t hint at that from inside.
The dying traffic in the orange glow would have been pretty, but it would’ve been a large distraction from the precious little time you have to prepare for dinner.

Dusk clears his throat, “This actually has very very little to do with deserve. It has much more to do with fate, though I’m sure you have no use for the word. Peace,” he says, as he sees you move to intercept, “I have seen enough in these cards to know you fit the post. However, your particular values system is more what sells the point. It is hard for me to explain.

Your coming has two very unique circumstances. One: The role you’re filling is alone. While true you hold power, undeniably outranking quite a few ponies, it is back by nothing. The squad, the team, the very fabric of your role…” Dusk bows his head, “They have died. You are looking at the sole, surviving member. The coward who lived. I am also blind and bound to this place.” He bites his lip, “My sight was taken by the beast that killed my friends. I am bound due to my own foolish attempts at bringing them back. Technically, you are about to sign on to being my brother.” He struggles with something for a bit, then offers a grin, “But I still out-rank you.”

“The second thing that may be bothersome for you will be the things you are challenged with. Your challenges will not just be huge, clunking bulks of fur. Although those will be the bulk. Your challenges will include finding a team of ponies who you can trust, but can cover eachothers weak-spots, other factions within the group… and a questionable morality.” He places a hoof on your shoulders and looks his lit, but cloudy eyes into yours, “It is very important. Very important. That you stay you. Understand? You will hear about things, maybe even see things, you won’t believe. Knowing all that, are you still prepared to take the Oath and your office?”

I also have bedrolls for when the foals come. A little big for them, but about your rung.”

Dox sticks his head out right next to Fluffs and sticks his tongue out at Chryssi. "Aw, you're just jealous that I stole your spot here!" He then turns to Puff and nuzzles her cheek. "Don't worry, I'm right here."

Psych quickly searches for a suit shop. While the thing he was wearing was decent for the concert, he definitely wanted something better to wear to his date with Octavia. After passing a few shops, he seems to have found one and opens the door, asking politely, "hello, is this a Clothing shop? I need a suit, I have a date soon tonight and I want to look good for her..."

It seems as though I've suddenly discovered the key of transmutation that alchemists have sought for eons - It feels like my heart has suddenly turned to lead. "You have a bit of a one-track mind." echoes in my head from years ago. He'd meant nothing ill of it, but it still rang sharply.

"Oh, uh, yes." I blush a little, realizing my mind was overreacting. Surely I'm a much more well-rounded pony by now. I accept the invitation by moving in next to and facing her as I continue.

"I read a lot of fiction in the past, Redwall, Warriors, some others, but then I started finding myself enjoying physics things more," I once again use my hooves, with a little bit of light magic to paint some swirls in the air, "exploring these exotic quantum worlds that make up our world, and part of the fun of astrophysics is reading about it is kind of like imagining being there - " I set my hooves back down, unintentionally doing a small, feign shiver, " - without all the radiation and need for air and all."

"The views I can only imagine across the solar system are absolutely breathtaking as a sunset in the valley from Canterlot! Oh, and how could I forget Daring Do? I'm not bone dry - I love physics and science but adventures and warm hugs-" I lean a little on her with the last two words "- are some of my favorite things, too." I pause for a brief moment. "Well, reading about adventures at least. Can't say I've ever really been on one, nor would want my friends in danger. Warm hugs and winter stories in front of fireplaces are much more enjoyable than being executed by Ahuizotl." I chuckle. Funny how we enjoy fiction that wouldn't be quite as enjoyable in person, isn't it? "-Though Daring Do does make for some great adventure. I just don't know if being in her place would be quite as fun at the moment."

Before you make the conclusion to attend, I must insist on warning you that my art pieces are not for the squeamish and has terrified ponies in the past who aren't desensitized to the horror and shock genre. However, I told my crew to pick out the pieces that won't cripple any minds with the exception of those in the main showcase. I have a few samples of my art pieces with me. Are you okay seeing them? Like I said: some of these pieces are disturbing, so if you're not ready to look at them any longer or you just want to decline, let me know. You are in a pretty safe environment so far."

He shifts a little uncomfortably, but after a moment nods. “Eyep.” It seems you’ll have a semi-nervous Big Mac at your art show. Without to much further excitement, Applejack and Big Mac part ways with you, giving you time to plan.

Dox sticks his head out right next to Fluffs and sticks his tongue out at Chryssi. "Aw, you're just jealous that I stole your spot here!" He then turns to Puff and nuzzles her cheek. "Don't worry, I'm right here."

Chrissi frowns at you, “Just wait until Dan comes back from wherever he’s been and decides to destroy- I mean, inconvenience you. Or you meet her sister. Either one.” She laughs evilly and goes off to do her own thing. Twilight frowns at her and shakes her head.

“A date, huh?” The voice was higher-pitched male voice, though it wasn’t feminine or particularly fancy. In fact, it was much more tired. “Well, sir, I can certainly help you. Do you know what kind of date you’ll be having tonight? Oh, and come in, come in. The street is not exactly… pleasant. At least not all the time.” When you come in, he closes the door behind you. You realize the store is not busy. In fact, you’re probably the only pony in it other than the sales pony. And even he doesn’t exactly seem to well on his luck. His suits take up a relatively small portion of the floor, with more plain designs, and bargain deals.

“The industry has been more cut-throat and flashy as of late. I’ve always preferred the more plain and professional looks, but as you can see I’m more of an exception than a rule.” He magics a duster to dust off some of the more plainer, everyday wear that is around most of the floor. Much of it still looks nice, but would’ve sold more as professional comfortwear. Outfits that could be worked in, while still providing a bit of class. “I keep my prices low too. Even when we had business. Now, what kind of date are you planning?”

She smiles and snuggles into you. “You would be surprised. Ponies like Daring Doo are special in that they find this life boring, and life on the road much more exciting and romantic. Also, Daring Doo works alone. With, you know, the one exception. But for the most part she works alone. That, I think, is among the most unenjoyable parts.”

She hums a bit to herself and runs a hoof through her mane nervously, “I, umm… I have to admit. I’ve never done anything like this before. It’s nice.” She kisses you on the cheek and settles back into leaning on you. “How about one of those fireplace stories you were talking about?”

“Oh, blessings!” she wishes you, then puts a hoof on her chest, “My name is Tree Hugger.” She lifts a hoof to gesture to the waterfall, looking over it “the aura here is just perfect for you to sooth and power your energy fields before your journey of spiritual alignment...” She turns back to you and sets her hoof down, “so are you looking to clear out your Chakras, find enlightenment, or improve your vibe? Because so far, your vibe is like, sooooo harmonic, from where you are already.”

"The one in the middle, finding Enlightenment is no small task, but each step takes me closer little by little." Ezekiel opened his bag and laid down a mat. He sat down and folded his legs into a lotus position. He patted the empty space next to him on the mat.

"There is room for two, you may sit if you want too." He smiled, hope building in his heart.

Dox gave a rather confused look. "... Sister? Puff has a sister I should be afraid for?" He tried to remain serious, but his face betrayed him, and he smiled and giggled, trying to hold it in.

Psych 'looks' around the room, taking everything in as the stallion talked. Suddenly, he was asked what type of dare he was going on. "We, well, I'm simply taking her to dinner. I know she'll look beautiful, and i want to find something that might match her. She's rather higher up in class than me, you see, so I'm sure whatever she'll have will be amazing, and I need something nice to compliment it."

"I'm afraid I don't really know any off the top of my head - I was kind of thinking more along the lines of reading a nice little story book of some kind. Something like Olive, the Other Reindeer..." As I think about it, I start to remember that story actually had some fighting in it, dognapping, truckers... "Well, maybe something even a bit more low-key, when it comes time to relax for sleep, something like..." The most friendly, relaxing, wonderful tale comes to mind, Woah, woah, am I really about to say this? Yeah, both of us are pretty relaxed right now, who doesn't like a little something soft? People putting up pretenses, that's who. I'm gonna say it! "-'Goodnight, Moon'. That's a classic."

I yawn, taking note of the beautiful night outside (whatever weather it is, it's almost always beautiful outside the window in my opinion. Either the view itself is relaxing and beautiful, or the frightening weather outside makes it ever more cozy inside). I take another sip from the hot cocoa, now running low. I telekinetically set it down somewhere safe for now. "...But come to think of it, I don't really know that one off the top of my head, either, heheh" my ears flop down, slightly embarrassed at not having a single tale to tale. "I was so nervous about this mission I don't think I packed any nice winter tales. Did you, perchance? I could get it out for you. Or we could make up our own. Or just reminisce about the beautiful starry sky," I add, the stars outside the window catching my eye. "Your call. Ever had anything you wonder about out there that you'd like to reminisce about with a fellow thinker?"

I yawn again, relaxing a bit more into the bench. This is going to be a very nice train ride. I'm sure if we fall asleep we'll wake up at Canterlot... Boy am I tired, though.

For a brief moment, I wonder how appropriate it'd be if I wrapped my hoof around her. Then it dawns on me: We... We just kissed. We just kissed! My heart flutters. I return her leaning with my own slight lean, relaxing into her, put my hoof around her shoulders, and nuzzle in a little.

[Note, you now have permission to make me fall asleep. I'd give it a 10-80% of happening depending on if Twilight does something that urges us to stay up, or something really relaxing, or decides trainride is a good time for a late-night pre-hotel nap. I'd stay awake if I'm reading her something, but might fade out if we're both tired and wax deep and relaxed about stars. Also if she's got energy that'd give me a bit more. I might just pass out if it's raining, though, heheh. I think I'm being influenced by the fact that IRL I'm in about the same situation right now, buuuuuut, it works rather well in the RP since it's implied to be rather late by now and in a train and all.]

Hello, Princess Luna. I noticed you represent the night, what more to say that I love the night. I was wondering if we could go to a dance at 4, because I heard that it was open for anypony, even two Alicorns. I was also wondering if we could go to the moon and chat, but it's up to you.

She laughs, “A work drink? My my, thou art an infallible knight of the court.” She grins and nods to the glasses, “Go ahead and pour.

“As for the stars being mine… That is not so true. Some ponies buy stars. And I believe that you were given one by your mother. If I remember correctly… that one.” She points at a small star of in the distance, “I am, however, responsible for letting them out.” She suddenly looks pleased, “We are getting the hang of this newer posh variation of speech!”

"Indeed, milady." Wilhelm nods and pours into two glasses, taking a preemptive sip from his own and hoofing the other to Luna in one wing. "I was with your sister a few days after you came back to Equestria, during your official court introduction; Celestia had asked us to give you privacy while you acclimated. Nevertheless, I remember your voice..." Wilhelm cleared his throat, adopting a more posh accent, similar to that of the oldest lineages of Canterlot gentry. "Wherefore couldst We ev'r forgeteth the compliment extern of such a fine mare?"

He laughed, and a small smile flashed across his face. Perhaps thanks to the wine - Wilhelm had an exceptionally low alcohol tolerance - or, more likely, to the fact that Luna hadn't rejected him outright yet, Wilhelm was letting down a bit of his guard, some of the stiffness removing itself from his posture. To her next sentence, however, he made a point of pausing to think. "Perhaps, but is responsibility not enough to claim ownership? Then again, a mare does not so much own her child, no matter the part she's played in raising it. But no matter! Away from such philosophy. After all, it's not every day that a Princess of the Realm accepts one's invitation to a da-"

Wilhelm corrected himself mid-word. "To dinner, I mean." He chuckled awkwardly, and it was clear that he was still uncomfortable around Luna for some reason. It was also clear he had run out of subjects to speak about; the words having fled his mind in the moment they were most needed. Besides, a niggling thought tapped at Wilhelm's consciousness, whispering that Luna wouldn't want practiced words anyway, words said in front of a mirror so many times they appeared casual.

Hello, Rarity, I love how you themed some designs off my work, I've even seen your design first hand, my do they look gorgeous. So, in return of your lively work, maybe I could treat you to dinner at 6 and maybe a dance at 9? Oh, and might I suggest, something a little fancy, this restaurant is a bit expensive. Not only that but it's the newest one in Canterlot, and I managed to make reservations for the two of us.

On heart and hooves day of the art showcase, Veiled Spike left passes for both Applejack and Big Mac at the will call booth just in case she forgets. After the morning business is taken care of, she opened her art show to both fans and non-fans alike to attend. Every pony was warned before entering. So far, the majority of the spectators at the art show created a good feedback response despite the few dramatic incidents. Both the crew and fans handled the situation with proper considerations. After 6 pm in the afternoon, Veiled Spike waited near the backstage hallway for Big Mac and Applejack to attend dinner with her.

We've moved. Mostly so that I can have more control with editing the front page and laying down the rules. I felt that having the rules in a clearly visible place, and just that one place, was advantageous. So, here's the link of the new page. Good luck, have fun~
