hmmm, maybe, but what caused him to actually escape anyway? the small fight between the CMC's seemed to be the thing that happened before he awoke, BUT I don't think that would

have done it...

 

What they did awoke him partly due to the fact that diamond tiara was around and the fight with the addition of silverspoon = discord in a nutshell!

 

either way under the same circumstances, he possibly would be able to brake free.

Of course he will. That was Celestia's plan all along. The whole "my sister and I brought order to the land" story is just a facade. She allows him to escape once every 500 years, because without the occasional sprinkle of chaos, the land would become a bleak dystopia.

I hope Discord will not be the villain in season 3, because I want to see him in normal episode!

 

Can't really imagine how mane 6 will react if discord lives a normal life.
