Allow me to present Anwar. Not the best name ever, but I happen to like it.

(lol picture is too big. Just look it up on google or something :/ )

MSi Wind U100 Notebook

11 inch, 1024x600 resolution display

300 GB hard drive

2.0 GiB of memory(RAM)

Two Intel Atom processors

Around 3 hours and 30 minutes of battery life

3 USB ports

And uh...

Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller

Not sure why that is needed..

Not exactly the best laptop for gaming, but it's good for doing whatever it is that I need.

Note: My next laptop will be named 'Tecai.' I've decided that for at least a month already.

And possibly, I'll be seeing 'tield@tecai' whenever I open the terminal then.

Oh, and I absolutely hate the Super button. That's the button with the Windows logo in a ring. Hopefully I'll be able to get one that has Ubuntu as the pre-installed OS. In my point of view, I find Ubuntu better than Windows. Not for gaming, but for my own stuff.

I used to have, what I dubbed, a Failtop. It was a refurbished shit Dell that was slow, clunky and pathetic. Later on it become worse when the keyboard was destroyed due to falling soda from a certain friend of mine, and I was forced to lug a USB plug-in keyboard with me everywhere with it.

Two years ago though, my mom pulled through in her epicness.

Ever since that day, my baby, my Acer Aspire has made my online life and general computer use easy and efficient. Windows 7 Home Premium edition, I've had no problems with it even after two years, and it's still running smoothly into year three. I know a lot of people go on about how Acer's can be unreliable, this that and the other thing, but I really feel like it's a hit or miss. I make sure it doesn't overheat, and take care of the fan and dust constantly, and update it/scan it with Norton consistently. Runs like a dream. Maybe some Acer's fail, but mine is a pure beast~

As for specs:

-Intel Core i3-370M proccessor (2.4GHz, 3MB L3 cache)

-Intel HD Graphics

-17.3" HD+ LED LCD

-4 GB DDR3 Memory

-500 GB HDD

-DVD-Super Multi DL drive

-Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/n

-6-cell Li-Lion battery

I have a eMachines minitower that can't run shit

It has served me well, however... It's only bluescreened once, and has never gotten a virus

My computer is not exactly an unstoppable monster... it's designed for gaming, but the CPU is kind of old for it, but it runs perfect for what i play.

These are the specs:

Nvidia GTX 550Ti 1GB

Amd Phenom II x6 (2,7GHz)

4GB RAM

1TB ROM

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits

I've got a fairly cheap Acer Aspire 5542 that I got 3 or 4 years ago.

Processor: AMD Turion II mobile processor M500 / 2.2 GHz ( Dual-Core )

Memory: 4.0 GB / 4.0 GB (max)

Hard Drive: 320.0 GB - Serial ATA-150

I've filled up the disk space on it at least six times now, it's really slow no matter what I do and it's literally falling apart.

For example, the earphone jack fell out, two of the four USB inputs just refuse to work, the keys barely work, the battery only lasts for a minute at most when not plugged in, it fries brand new batteries in a matter of days, the power cord snapped, the top falls off and the screen is barely even attached.

But despite the condition of it, it has been through quite a lot and it has served me very well. I hope to be purchasing a new computer very soon, but even if I don't, I'm sure I could squeeze another year or two out of this guy.

Name: "P0NYT0P" (Though under FreeBSD it's "Trikky")

Why are the OS options for the poll only allow one OS to be picked? And why do they only have Windows/Mac/Linux as options? There are a lot more OSes out there than that :P I personally have a Triple boot with Win7, Fedora-15-Xfce-spin Linux, and vanilla FreeBSD.

Here are the specs from dxdiag under windows, Archey under Fedora gives the essentially same hardware specs. Too lazy to retype it all manually, just snipped/cropped it.

I picked Other, because I have both Linux and Windows on my computer. Windows because I'm used to it, Linux because it will never break and because it lets me modify Windows 7 to make it far faster than the Factory Settings.

As for my computer itself, I'll need a better Graphics card before i run anything post 2008, but older games run just fine.
