My specs are pretty good, the only reason why I still have such a bad CPU is because I still haven't upgraded to a better one ^^

Anyway my specs are:

Case: Coolermaster Storm Enforcer

CPU:  I5-3570K Quad Core running @ 4.10 GHz

Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4

RAM8 Gb (going to 16 or 32 soon) Corsair Vengeance

GPU: 4gb EVGA GTX 670 FTW

Hard Drive: Seagate Baaracude 2 TB (soon going for another 2 TB) Sata-III, 64MB @ 7200RPM

Optical Drive: Some kind of LG dvd burner, thing makes so much sound, those "technical" dudes from the electronic shop have no idea what they're talking about -.-

Power Supply: Corsair's TX750M

OSWindows 7 with Rocketdock and custom Rainmeter apps.

This is how my desktop looked like when I had just put it together and tested out whether nothing was wrong with the mobo or the CPU ^^

This beast can run pretty much any game on the highest settings when I'm done installing the newest drivers, I have never, ever seen my FPS drop below 70-80.

HP

Laptop

Windows 7

4 Gigs of RAM

3 GHz of CPU

500 Gigs of Hard Drive space

I don't remember anything else

It would be great, except it gets hot all the time. I haven't cleaned the fan in 2 years, and I'm sure it's really dusty. The fan's really loud, and it's hot as hell when I'm only using ~40% ram

I built my rig almost 4 years ago now and it is still a top of the line performer with the few minor upgrades it has been given.

CPU: 1st Generation i7 2.8GHz (core clock)

MOBO:MSI Micro ATX (The BUS speeds were top of the line 4 years ago :( )

VID Card: NVidia GTX 470 320-Bit 1.5GB DDDR5 RAM

RAM 12GB 1300 DDR3 RAM

SSD: 180GB (my most recent upgrade)

HDD: 1TB Backup drive (All non gaming programs and files go there)

OS: Windows 7 Premium 64-Bit

This rig will last me another 3-4 years, but I hope to be building a better rig sometime before that. The one mistake I made when building this rig was the case. It's a half tower and all the parts fit fine but there is little room to maneuver when cleaning it. I went for an aesthetically pleasing case instead of just getting a cheap full tower that was just a black box.

Well, I custom built mine.

I have:

2x 500GB SATA 5400RPM Hard Drives

16GB DDR3-1666 RAM

ASRock Z77 Extreme6

Intel Core i5-3570k @ 3.4GHz (Overclockable to 4GHz)

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 (Need an upgrade, if anyone has a 550+ or 650+ that they would like to give away, here is your chance)

DIABLOTEK EVO Case

500W PSU (Thermaltake TR-2 I think)

Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

That's all I can come up with at this moment

I would show mine in a picture but since it was a present in which my parents lack of knowledge in over priced companies, they got me a Alienware X51 -_-

(I'm in the process of replacing the parts from the X51 and putting them into my old computer. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell.)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (Upgrading)

Intel® Core i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz

300 PSU (Power Brick, like I said before. Replace time, hehehehehehe)

16GB RAM

Windows 7 64-bit

That's probably the core points in the system.

SAMSUNG NP300V5A-S05CA

Windows 7 64-Bit

Intel Cire i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz, 3 MB L3 Cache

8GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce GT 520MX

1 TB Hard Drive

Does this sound at all good to you? I have had this laptop for over a year I think, and I can't really play many of the popular games on it.

But it does what I want it to.

I spent most of last summer and partway through the beginning of this school year researching parts to build a computer with (first time builder).

On December 20, I built my computer and got it up and running.

Here's what I have in it:

  • Windows 7
  • Intel Ivy-bridge i5 3570k clocked at 4.2 ghz
  • Asrock z77 extreme4 1155 Motherboard
  • Zotac Gtx 660ti
  • Patriot Viper 3 2x4(8gb) 1600mhz ram
  • NZXT Phantom 410 Chassis
  • Coolermaster Hyper 212+ Heatsink
  • Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2tb hardrive
  • Ocz modXstream pro 600w modular psu (switching out eventually)

Cost around $1050 at that time.

I consider it to be a beast, because it handles almost anything I can throw out it without a major performance drop (such as Skyrim with modded graphics).

I wish I had the $ to build one.

E6300 Dual core 2.8 GHZ processor.

8GB of ram.

AMD radeon HD4300/4500 series card.

Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

And I play Planetside 2 with low settings on this thing. O_O

Took me almost a year to get the money for mine. So I know where your coming from, and it sucks a lot.

In any case, most people don't have the money to spend on a great computer.

Myah! Can you give me your 660? I need a new graphics card for free or very cheap. I have enough power to use it, and it would be great if you can!

I'm thinking of putting another GTX 680 in my build.

I also need to swap out that OS drive for a newer SSD, I'm going to swap it for a OCZ 480GB Vertex 3, anyone had experience with these? My current Vertex 2 seems to be turning itself off now and then.

I hate this thread and everyone who posted on it, damn you and your awesome computers.

Why do I have to be so poor? This thing I'm using right now is so far beyond crappy, but I'm stuck with it. It takes like 30 seconds just to bring up the damn start menu sometimes, I'm serious, it's not funny. I just wish these things weren't so expensive.

Great, now I have a headache.

I have a Late 2009 iMac. I didn't have a computer for myself, so I decided to just get a cheap one off of Gumtree. Works fine and dandy, no problems with it; was able to upgrade it from SL to ML smoothly.

The specs I can remember are:

-2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

-2GB 1067MHz DDR3 RAM

-256MB Nvidia GeForce 9400

Now, the specs are obviously not that prime (at least not for gaming, which I don't do on PC), but hey, they get me around for day-to-day use of the Internet and programs. I've been considering upgrading the RAM to 8GB (the max it can reach), but I'll most likely buy a newer iMac in about a year or two.

Here I have a

i7 3770k (CPU)

ASUS GEFORCE GTX 660 DirectCU II TOP (graphics card)

CORSAIR VENGEANCE LP (4 x 4GB RAM)

COOLER MASTER M2 SILENT PRO 720W (PSU)

and to tie it all up

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H

That is about it, in a box that would cost about, I'm guessing 70$

Razer Megalodon (One of the best headsets I have tried on!)

And a GIGABYTE M7 THOR mouse

Further a clackity keyboard probably worth about 5$ and some kind of Samsung screen
