An old Lenovo Inspiron laptop with 64 mb intel integrated graphics, 4 gbs of ram, 500 gbs of hard drive space and an i3 processor.  Most modern games don't pass 15 FPS and can reach as low as 6.  I'm saving up for a gaming laptop.

Geez, I'm jelly of other peoples computers. Like I'm amazed by how folks can afford something that is part nuclear reactor.

Mine is a ancient Dell Dimension with a Pentium 4 processor and 512 megabytes of RAM.

That is a serious cooling system for that OC. :D

Well, I use watercooling mainly for the sound level. Because with that OC the fans were noisy, even heard them through a headset when listening to music.

Dat titan tho

Speaking of which, the new Titan-Z looks quite depressing if you ask me.

Why depressing? It's two Titans in one for the price of three!

Honestly at this point, I'm just disappointed it's 2x6GB instead of 12GB, but that's entirely to be expected.

I needs me a Quadro K6000. :squee:

Up until last winter, I'd been using the same computer for 12 years- one with only 128MB RAM and a 20GB hard drive (and it still had a floppy disk drive, so you know it was old!).

As for my current computer, I'm just using a cheap Acer laptop. I guess the specs are pretty good, but anything was an upgrade from my old computer. I don't know all the specs off hand, but it has a 15.6" screen, 750GB hard drive, 6GB of RAM, and is running an AMD A4-5000 processor.

My computer needs some new modules, and I will be getting new modules.

Current specs: (C.P.U. Intel Celeron [1.8 Ghz])  (2 GB R.A.M.)  (Western Digital [256 G.B. module])

Planned:  (C.P.U. Intel Core i7 [3.8 Ghz]) (8 G.B. R.A.M.)  (Crucial M550 [712 G.B.])

Because I have problems when playing games like GTA IV (low F.P.S., bad graphics, etc.)

question

you have a laptop? And what's the 'planned' specs? I mean, is it gonna go into your computer now? Do you have a desktop? :P

Got a custom built gaming desktop for my birthday back in September, basic "have fun, but don't run Planetside 2 at highest specs possible and expect more than 15 FPS" esq gaming computer. I had a paper with all the specs, but it's lost somewhere in my clothing-jungle of a room, so I'll go by memory.

AMD Quad core 2.8 GHZ processor

1 AMD Radeon Sapphire HD 6850

8GB DDR3 RAM

400 Watt power supply

Some kind of small copper water cooling system on the graphics card (?)

1 TB hard drive by Seaport

X7 Keyboard(right arrow key is mushy), Gigabyte M7 mouse

Tri booting Lubuntu (no sound drivers, rarely use) Windows 7 (something virusy maybe slowing it down) And Ubuntu 14.04 (fracking love this)

I game sometimes, and pretty much the rest of the time I run BOINC (World communitygrid and GPUgrid) on it. LOVE THIS COMPUTER

Recovering an old thread because I can.

I feel like buying this, but my mom's paranoid that if I buy any of these parts one of the pieces might end up being broken. (Help me.) But I've heard a pre-built PC will get you nowhere no matter the price. (Remember my budget is $500.) Here's the link:

Later, I'll get a GPU when I get some money.

I have an HP Compaq Presario with some core upgrades.

It has an AMD Phenom 9600 quad-core 2.3 GHz processor,

4 GB of RAM (have an extra 4 but causes system crashes on windows.),

Some graphics card that I don't remember,

It also runs on Windows 7 Ultimate.

I have an i7 4790k and a GTX 780. My computer runs on Windows 8 64 bits.

You'd think that with a computer like that, you would be able to run all games with everything maxed out but no. Watch Dogs does give me some trouble sometimes.

Recently bought a new to me laptop, Dell Precision M4600

Intel Core i5-2520M

8 GB RAM

NV Quadro 1000M

512 GB Crucial MX100

Gigantic 240W AC adapter

Heavy but built like a tank.

e Machine W 3653

Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.9 GHz

2.50 GB RAM

500 GB hard drive

ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB graphics card

Of course, it's a Frankenstein and doesn't really have any of the parts it came with. It can be easily bested by most peoples' machines in this thread, but it was all I had on such a tight budget and it was the greatest PC I ever owned.

Looking at my previous post here I still have that Dell Dimension too lol.
