Majority of ska songs get me pumped up, but other than that I like "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" and "Slim Pickens Does the Right Thing and Rides the Bomb to Hell", both by The Offspring, when I want to get pumped up for a run they are always a great choice

I think the alarms really add a lot to the song. The beat is like an adrenaline injection for me.

Recently i started listening to this song while going to school (Getting pumped for good grades!). The song is called Survivor by Muse, it's really... well... it makes you want to go into battle and just destroy everyone else! (Best i could describe ) Especially when the heavier parts come in...

The song I listen to when I want to get pumped up is "Cheyne-Stokes" by Chelsea Grin.  I love it.  It is like my anthem, too.  You should try it.

Most people have the opposite reaction. You wouldn't believe how many Nightwish "fans" get mad when I say that. And they talk like Nightwish didn't exist or was worthless before Anette. She can sing well, I'll give her that, but I find nothing remarkable or distinct about her. You could give me a recording of Tarja singing anything and I would know it's her; not so much with Anette.

 

I agree with you there.  I absolutely love Nightwish with Tarja.  Her voice is so amazing.  And, I like a couple of songs with Anette, like "I Want My Tears Back", but Tarja was so much better.
