That's from H.P. Lovecraft, and is the first sentence from The Call of Cthulhu.

 

Now for another Lovecraftian quote.

 

 

 

This line is the final line from Pickman's Model, probably my favourite Lovecraft story, and taken out of context may not mean much, but as the conclusion to the story, it is very powerful and ties up the story perfectly.

Played a bit of Okami yesterday evening (after a whole week of lab work without interruption), and wanted to add a couple of Issun quotes.

First, a more complete version of the "melons" line about priestess Rao.
