Which pony in your opinion represents their element the best?

Twilight. She became an alicorn because she had a complete understanding of the the power of friendship. Celestia, within the context of the show, has been intending this to happen to Twilight all along, setting Twilight on the path of ruling alongside her. As to why this is, it's very vague, and we can hope for that to be revealed in Season 4.

Basically, she learned enough about friendship to reach ascension into an alicorn status. Friendship is magic, after all.

anyone but rarity.. she is almost NEVER generosity, twilight always does the magic, pinkie laughing ect..    the only pony that seems to have nothing to do with their element is rarity

I'd say either Twilight, Fluttershy, or Pinkie Pie. They all really live up to their element. Pinkie's always hilarious, Twilight's great with her magic, and Fluttershy is super kind.

To be honest the easy answer is pinkster. But I say Miss Rarity. To truely be Generious, one must be so to others but ALSO to themselves. After all she is not the spirit of selflessness eh?

Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity don't seem to showcase their element all too often. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie's elements on the other hand are absolute staples of their character. Tied for first place is Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

Applejack without a doubt, Applejack has lied on occasion but when she did she always failed at it miserably because it so contrary to her nature. She is faithful and keeps her word to everypony even her enemies as she said to the FlimFlam brothers "a deals a deal." And most importantly she out of the mane 6 is the most true to herself, honesty starts with being honest with yourself and accepting you for who you are because if you can't even accept yourself than how can you accept others? Applejack earned her cutie mark after she realized that she was trying to be somepony she was not and decided to accept herself for who she really is.
