I'm not really into collecting merchandise for much of anything, but if there is one thing MLP gets right it's their hardcover books! <3

I bought a Dr Hooves shirt last March at Hot Topic a couple of weeks after becoming a brony.

I got myself a Best Princess Luna shirt at Hot Topic around 2012.

My first piece of merch was a My little pony friendship is magic 2011 shirt with RD outline on the front, I saw the manliest bronie Dustykatt Rhoades from everfree network wearing it and thought I had to get me one.

I'm pretty sure it was a couple of the little brushables. Later on I got some of the funko vinyls, a couple shirts, then finally a fan made plush. Plushies always seemed like the crowning jewels of any collection, to me at least.

I think it was an Aurora Fluttershy plush I bought from Hobby Lobby, I also had some stares while checking out to pay for it lol.

The first Pony merch item I bought was the vinyl Fluttershy by Funko. My collection has grown since then but that's still one of my favorites. yay!

 

Personally I like the vinlys and small figurines that closely resemble the character's appearance on the show, but all the merch is great
