SirErik 1 July 7, 2012 Share July 7, 2012 On Team Fortess 2 I named the Rainblower "The Sonic Rainboom Prototype." Can someone think of a good description and/or a better name if you have one?
Ron Jeremy 2,032 July 7, 2012 Author Share July 7, 2012 (edited) On Team Fortess 2 I named the Rainblower "The Sonic Rainboom Prototype." Can someone think of a good description and/or a better name if you have one? Just FYI, this got merged into the existing TF2 thread, since it really didn't need its own thread. Anyways, could always go the overdone-pony-meme route and have it something like "Kills in 10 seconds flat" or something. Gift wraps would become rather..useless if that was how it worked, wouldn't it? Like who'd wanna spend money on it if you can just go do it the free way? Well, people use gift wraps because you can use them to trade untradables, right? And so they can leave a message? I couldn't see it effecting the sale of those much, really. Musical-Mettaur 41 July 8, 2012 Share July 8, 2012 Huh. Surprised I didn't find this earlier. Well, I guess only one question there is, for me to ask...Do you believe in magic? And not certain which class is my favorite.

Jozzeh 125 July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 Some unboxing later, I have a spare Gentleman's Ushanka and Hazmat Headcase (And other stuff I had already traded away). If anypony seeks the two things above, might be your time to get it. Now to keep on shootin' rainbows!
Victoria and Co. 782 July 9, 2012 Share July 9, 2012 Added about 100 kills to my S. Rainblower in two matches or so. M1+W is a beautiful thing. In other news, if anyone has some Ash Pile Pieces that they don't need, I'd be very happy if you could donate them to me! :

Also, I have a spare ash pile piece you can have. I bought a couple charred keys off a guy earlier, opened some crates, got (another) Idea Tube and a Gentleman's Ushanka. Their combined value's only half of what I paid for the keys, but meh, I won't be picky. I gambled, that's what happens. Don't sweat the small stuff, and considering how much metal I can potentially get a week, three refined is kinda small. :

Storn 11 July 11, 2012 Share July 11, 2012 (edited) Played it since the F2P update and was F2P for a day. Then I bought the Orange Box lawl I'm about 700 hours in and still playing daily... ALSO, The Hat in that game for me is definetly The Hard Counter. It's just too epic to wear that and distribute sandviches to enemies :3 Edited July 11, 2012 by BananaStorm
DeletedAcc 64 July 11, 2012 Share July 11, 2012 I can't stop opening crates. I just HAVE to know what's inside! I had this problem too. It's like a disease, as soon as you get a key you have to uncrate. I've unboxed about 30-40 crates total and nothing. People say the average is 70-100 crates to get an unusual. With that many keys, you could get a good unusual that you actually want instead of a stupid not even 1 bud unusual that you could unbox.

This is the best part, because if you save up so many, you're way better off just buying something you want right away instead of letting luck decide the outcome. Street Comedy 327 July 11, 2012 Share July 11, 2012 I figured, lol. But I just HAVE to know what's inside that box! Unless it's a seasonal crate, it's not worth opening it, you usually get something you don't want.Crate opening has been very disappointing for me in the past, instead of a freaking S. Sticky launcher I get a Skullcutter.

Ron Jeremy 2,032 July 11, 2012 Author Share July 11, 2012 I figured, lol. But I just HAVE to know what's inside that box! Remember that opening crates is gambling. One could buy a thousand keys and not get the item they want. If you really want a hat with sprites flying around it, you'd be better off just buying it if you're that desperate. I mean, sure, my second crate contained an unusual, but that was sheer dumb luck. That's how gambling nabs people: The "Oh, this time I had bad luck, but NEXT TIME I'll get the jackpot" effect, that "next time" never happening and the gambler only wasting more and more money. My suggestion: Open crates very sparingly, and only when they're crates that have higher odds of yielding decent stranges and hats/miscs. Other news: I still mess around on Valve servers to watch noobs because they're funny. No longer do I facehoof at the noobs. Now I just laugh. Earlier, I was messing around turtling as the engineer, and there was this other engineer. I saw this spy repeatedly try to backstab this guy's sentry. he'd walk up to it disguised as an an engineer, get behind it, stab at it and immediately get killed by it. I was laughing so much I wasn't paying enough attention and a demo managed to destroy my sentry.

Jozzeh 125 July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 ^ super bragger about his unusual You might be joking but I'll say it anyway; He's hardly super bragging about it, more like being an example of not trusting luck just because it happened. ^^ It is fun when luck comes to your doorstep, but luck comes and goes, never stays.
