Backstory:

  Reveal hidden contents

im not going into too much detail. Both his parents had a huge love for art. His father, enjoyed making sculptures and fountains, doing work for places ranging from ponyville, too even celestia herself. his mother however, enjoyed paintings, she saw a sculpture as just carved rock taking up space. My oc himself, was good at both, yet ironiccly didnt like either, he would spend hours at a time drawing models of fantasy things, which he then dedicated his life too. what were theese fantasies? well he dreamed of a new way to power contraptions, bring light, and make the world more advanced. no more flames to light a room, and no more magic to build machines. and what would this power be? a form of energy, with similar attributes to lightning,only on a smaller scale. some of theese ideas have been going through his mind ever since he was a young colt and more recently he hase been thinking up contraption that used this energy. a component would be .

 

 

I think thats enough info to make a name for him. any ideas?

hmm, theyre all good suggestions id say. well, since this is before electricity ( hence the story line) Short Circuit, Conductor, Ram and Buffer im throwing out the window, refresh doesnt sound rigth either, so im going with technicolur.

But that's just my opinion, because I am sure you don't have an Intel core, because it is pretty old.

I personaly liked haywire suggested above it matches with the way that every thing in Equstria has been pony related like Manehatten or Los Pegasus. the hay shows his pony side and the wire is his techno side. just my opinion.

you know guys that this was a time before electrical technology was invented? so if his name has something to do with that, then his parents must have been piss drunk when they gave birth.

I understand this but if you look at every pony they are named before their cutimark but some how it matches. like Diamond tiara, just happened to diamond tiara cutimark your name dose not have to be cannon to the timeline. just have fun with the name

wow, your right. but still the word "electricity hasnt been invented, and i dont think there is anypony in the series with a word Just for them. oh btw ive changed meh mind and going for "bright spark".
