So....I want some feedback on my first pony.

This is Windy Scamper, my own pony, or my pony-self. Her cutie mark is going to be a magic hat with a wand, wand, kind of like this:

I think you should reconsider her color palette if you're going to give her a solid cutie mark like that. It would be enough if you lightened her coat, darkened her mane, ditched the headband and maybe switched her eye color to light blue.

However, this is just my suggestion.

 

+ How is her talent magic if she's a pegasi?

Well, like illussions and stuff. I figured its more levitation and awesome stuff like that. Since unicrons are a magic given, a pegasus would have to actually use deception and other stage magic techniques.

And I have offically overthought this.

That is actually a pretty good point. With this Trixie episode coming up, I wonder if she may be outdone by a non-unicorn, as she would least expect it.

 

It has a distinct look. I agree to ditch the hair band, as it is synonymous with spa ponies, unless she is one.

VERY bright...she should be dimmed down a bit like Ropi suggests, and a different hair style shouldn't be too hard to come up with. Other than that she's pretty brilliant

If you want I could do a quick sketch up of her doing something magical and add her cutie mark to her flank
