To become friends you have to have compatible personalities and compatible interests. I think I would have somewhat compatible personality and compatible interests with Twilight, at least how she was near the beginning of the show. 

Not really interested in a romantic relationship though, but I guess if I had to have one, Twilight would probably be a better choice than most people.
