Rain heard a familiar voice from down below."Huh? Oh Hey Hunter! Yeah sure I'll be there in a sec!" He finished moving the rest of the clouds and grabbed an extra. He lowered the cloud to the ground and offered for her to sit on it. "You wanted to talk right? So whats up?"

Carrying her notebook in her mouth, with the silver gel pen poked through the spiral, Angel Feather walked along the sidewalk, her eyes searching for a nice place to eat at.

She wasn't very used to the quiet and quaintness of Ponyville.  She was so used to the bustling streets of Canterlot where she could easily see where ponies were eating.  But here, she couldn't see which restaurant was the most popular.

She spotted it.  She trotted over.

"I just thought you might like to hang out, you're the only pony I know in town. oh and sorry if I made you feel awkward when I kissed you yesterday"

hunter apologized for the incident yesterday, even though it was intentional, she thought rainy was cute

Oh' yeah I'd love to hang out! Oh and about the kiss its totally fine." He said kinda sheepishly. He started to pull the could back up to the sky. He retrieved another cloud and hooked it to Hunters cloud and laid down it. He opened his wings to catch the sun on them, he closed his eyes and sighed."Ahhh this feels so good."

Sky Warden expanded his wings still and let the morning stream flew him across Ponyville. He just finished his night shift and was heading to the marketplace for breakfast when he saw two pegasus on a cloud. He swoop down and land on the same cloud.
"Ahoy Rain, Hunter!" He smirked "Am I interrupting?".

Rain scrabbled to a sitting position slightly blushing. "Wha- Pfft nah we're just hanging out." Rain said waving his hoof dismissively. So what are you up to Sky I thought you would be asleep, you did have the night shift." Rain said trying to change the topic.

Failing to sustain a nap, Indigo decided to just sit and relax on the branch.  Then he noticed somepony walking towards the place he just ate.  Hmmm... Maybe that white-coated pony knows if there's anything cool going on today? Indigo thought.  When the White coated mare walked past the tree Indingo was in, he decided to get her attention.  "Psssssst! Umm... Hiya, do you know if there's anything cool going on today?"

After the time in the water the young dragon took some courage and started walking towards the town. it have been "a long time" since he worked with the pony kind and he was nervous of the reaction of them when a “beast” appeared looking for a job.

 

“Let’s just trust what she said” speak to himself as he remembered the information about Ponyville being friendlier to his kind that other places.  As he realizes this was big stuff for him now he noticed a blue dart flying towards the forest… “Armored one” were his thoughts taking a mental note of the flyer.

 

He walked, 4 legs of course, to the center of the little town taking a more “risky” route than the ones the day before, his wings folded of course and covering his head, it was time to take it, maybe it will not be so nice but it was a deal he have to take on if wanted to stay there.

 

Restaurants, stores and other places were crowded “Not my kind of place” he sigh. He was sure a hot spot was not his kind of job he then try to address to a pink mare with green with a green mane but as soon as he look into her eyes the pony just gasped and run out of the way. “Yup…Friendly”  he thought.

 

There was a park in front of him and some winged ponies chatting on the sky. There are some trees nearby the group so he walk until being down their leaves to be kind of out of sight and greet them.

 

“Hello there, I’m new in town”

Sky chuckled, "Ah, of course, hangout". He unleashed a yawn, "I got enough sleep yesterday, I guess I will stay awake till the afternoon. I'm going to get some breakfast now" He tilted his head to the mountain in the east, "I've prepared some clouds for the rain there, I just want to let you know".

Angel Feather looked up in slight surprise.  "Oh!" she said, blushing, thinking he must have seen the shock written across her face.  "Oh...well...not really," then she felt even more embarrassed.  She felt as if he must think she doesn't know much.  Angel Feather almost mentioned that she was new in Ponyville but didn't say anything.  She gave a small shrug.

“Crap, off all the possible things he could say…” reaction ideas to the Pegasus reply cross his mind. “Just hope you don’t regret it” end the thoughts as he realized the out of sight plan was over.

 

He walks out of the leaf shield keeping his head and face out of sight with his hood. “I don’t want to interrupt, as I just tell I’m new on Ponyville and maybe will stay for a while. Do you know if some pony needs some help, I’m kind of looking for a job”

 

He say all of this without rising his sight hoping this flyers wont dash off with fear like the pink mare did minutes ago.

she let out a giggle. holding onto her glasses extra tight, she didnt want to drop them, after all, the glasses werent a pegasus and could pass through clouds

Indigo noticed that this pony seemed really shy, Either she's naturally shy or just suprised to see me pop outta the tree above her, he thought.  "Oh... Well thank you.  And, uhh.. I hope I didn't startle you too much."  He chuckled and blushed just a little bit.  "Well, I'm new here and either lookin' for something to do at the moment... Where are you headed?  Oh, and my name's Indigo."  Indigo hoped he might at least have someone to chat with for a while, even if its a really short conversation.  I hope she's not too shy... But she seems just as new as me, so maybe she just doesn't know whats going on around here?

"You're...you're welcome," she blushed.  He had noticed.  "Oh, I'm new here too.  I was just going to get something to eat," she said, gesturing to the small restaurant a few feet ahead.  "I...I'm Angel Feather.  You can call me Angel," she added in a whisper.  She placed her notebook and silver gel pen into her messenger bag.

As the black mane mare stared on him he gave a step back to the leafs protection and replayed.

 

"Im so sorry miss, the bright of the morning sun hurt my eyes and cant look up to you.” He said with a kind voice. A nice way to talk his way out of this and stay out of sight.

 

“I didn’t try to upset you or interrupt your conversation, please excuse me I’ll make my way"

 

 

But the hiring stuff snapped him out of the Idea of leaving as he listen to the black pegasus ideas of a job opportunity the last one got his attention.

 

“Apple Jack ?? Apple as in Sweet Apple Acres ”

Woo! I was right, she is new.  Well, she does seem really shy... I know it'd be awkward if I asked to join her, especially since I just ate... Um... I have no idea what I should say... Sighing silently to himself, he decided to at least ask something.  "Oh, that sounds... Appetizing?"  Ugh, I must seem really awkward, that was dumb to say... "Well, i'd ask to like, join you and maybe chat, but I just ate... And I don't wanna seem like im watching you eat, cause that'd be awkward right? Uhhh... Well would you mind if we hung out after you ate or something?  Unless it's not awkward for me to not eat?  Indigo was blushing more noticably now.  I think I talk to much, I need to work on talking to mares...  I seem to mess up my words alot.

Angel Feather couldn't help but smile softly at the word 'appetizing'.  And as he continued babbling on she felt herself smiling more and more.  What an odd pegasus, she thought.  "Sure," and then as it came out of her mouth she blushed again.  I have issues.  "I mean...yeah.  If you want to...later I mean."

A job away from Ponyville much crowded life and among the fruit trees like the old days, that was worth giving a try.

 

“Bucking won’t be a problem. I’ll make my way then, my most sincere gratitude winged friend”

 

He also makes a small reverence at the young azure mare.

 

“I don’t desire the bad manners of my weak eyes to ruin your day miss… I hope to listen to your giggle again”

 

With this he turned around a headed east to his “spot” thinking of how ideal a work on the apple farm was. A slight smile appear on his face “That went fairly well, they seem like a very nice couple” were his thoughts.

"Really!? I mean uhhh... Yeah later... Unless you don't mind me bothering your food?"  Noticing Angel's smiling now, he blushed heavily.  Am I really that awkward?  I think I was working weather for too long... I wasn't too good at it and I never saw anypony from flight school, so I didn't talk to anypony.  That seems to have taken it's toll.  Indigo chuckles to himself and glides down from the branch.

"Oh...sure.  I don't mind.  Really," she said softly.  She smiled gently.  She turned and started towards the restaurant, hoping he was following and she wouldn't end up in the restaurant asking for a table for two when there was only one.  Then again, Angel wasn't really sure if you asked for certain tables in Ponyville.  "So...where are you from...?"

Indigo began walking along side Angel, and now that he's going back to the restauraunt, he actually might be hungry enough to order something small.  "Well, I've returned to Ponyville from Cloudsdale after saving up money to open my own shop.  I want to start some kinda flower business of sorts..."  He nods towards his cutie mark, A blue flower with a squiggle of wind semi-perpendicular to the stem.  "I went to school here a few years back...  What about you?"

"Oh,"  Angel said, looking at his cutie mark.  "That sounds lovely.  I...I'm from Canterlot.  I just finished my studies at Princess Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns.  Though...I...I was never that good," she blushed.  She went over to a table by the window and sat down.  She saw the menu on the table and picked it up.
