this thread is inspired by a folder of pics i keep on my hard drive, all of things i find inspiring, beautiful, cool, badass, etc. basically, anytime i see something that moves me, i save it and drop it in this folder.

 

with that being said. post something you feel is beautiful in any way. whatever you got, artistic photos, cool shit, landscapes, people, cars, etc. have fun with it and share pics. ill kick it off with this:

i find most of the worlds beauty to be contained in old hot rods, motorcycles, machinery, and firearms. however i often find beauty in rust and ruin. now is not one of those times:

Most of these are just me derpin around with my little digital that I love so much! Haha. I find beauty in almost everything..... Our world, although filled with hardships and atrocities, is filled with twice as much beauty as long as we open our eyes and look deep enough! Side note: That moon picture, which was difficult to capture, is a photo of a moonbow! A ring of light around the moon! It's very scarce, but still beautiful!

Yes..... I agree! Grandeur things are sort of scary in a way to me, like they could swallow me up and I'd be nothing compared to it..... But that is what I find makes these huge things beautiful!

Once, i was even loved...

 

this house upsets me. its the outside of the mouldering room above. one day at dusk, i was driving by and across the field there's a glinting in the treetops. i realize its a window. apparently its always been there, but i never saw it until then. Everything is all growed up around it, and the backyard is full of twisted old apple trees. inside it's like the people just walked out one morning. there's beds hanging from what used to be upstairs bedrooms, and a kitchen table with dusty broken dishes. closets are full--a piano sunken through the floor in the library. oh the books! D: but when i finally got a camera, it looks like someone is at last caring for it. they shimmed the front porch at least and mowed.

 

 

on the upside: this is what it feels like when i play the fiddle. (or art.) it lives!

I think they're pretty good. At the end of the day its not the tool you use but how you use it, and from what I can see you've used that digital camera to great effect.

The Maybach Laundaulet is just gorgeous in my eyes, I never thought white leather interiors could look so good, and the fact it's a convertible over the back seats.

The interior of the Cadillac CTS, especially with the ambient lighting.

I just have to put my truck up here. It's beautiful in my eyes, and it's so reliable. 185,300 miles and no break downs. Also, say hi Lyra!
