Alright, the first one is dated February 2nd of this year, when the Derpy debacle was still something new. There is actully plenty of Derpy stuff still being sold on WeLoveFine and just recently Hot Topic started carrying some Derpy Merchandise. As for the second one it simply retells the events that happened earlier this year when it all started. There is no sense in sending about wild rumors. :\

They never changed her name to Ditzy Doo, they altered the ITunes release of the episode so that Derpy's name was never said and made her sound more...bubbleheaded for lack of a better term. The DVD released in America that has the episode on it features the original version of the episode.

Her name was Derpy in the episode, it may have been originally intended as Ditzy Doo but Derpy still stands and she's not going anywhere anytime soon. I couldn't be more glad about that. :)

in the video i posted it has derpy with original voice and then near the end it has the edit version of derpy where they we hasbro re-voiced her. what verison of derpy where you referring to bronies not liking im assuming its the later

Oh, no, I mean a bunch of people were making a big deal out of her first voice, and then I think that was one of the reasons they changed it.

no. by a bunch of people you mean moms that thought they where making fun of retarted people. the biggest thing that makes me think your wrong is because when they changed her voice they also made her eyes no longer crooked in that episode. so she didn't look as "retarted"

 

did you even watch that video she is completely butchered from what she original was and was intended it to be she is no longer a shout out to the brony community in any way

Yes, some parents were upset, but I sure as heck saw bronies themselves complaining that her voice didn't sound "right." That AND the grumpy parents probably made them realize that anyone who actually LIKED Derpy wasn't speaking up, so they changed it. And she still is designed for the brony community- think of it like this: when you edit a book, you don't change who it is dedicated to.
