It's great to be here! I really look forward to working with people on this in the future and sharing opinions and thoughts about the site!

Actually I think we should all get to know each other so we know who's in the group, and so we can work together better keeping in mind the genre's and styles we like. What do you think?

I'm Silver Arrow, and I write orchestral music! (As some people know.) I also like Metal/Symphonic Metal, but I can't really compose that. I am a big fan of instrumental/electronic combination music.

My name is Vinyl Note!

I am new to dubstep scene and have been a brony since the episode 1 release. I cannot tell you how much I love all my supporters (very little to none :P), but anyways I hope that Pony.fm gives me a chance to show you what I can do! Thanks and I hope you enjoy my music! <3

Apparently I'm joining the alpha - so hello!

I'm CloudFyre; I'm just starting to venture into pony music, as my works up until now have been more commercial in nature.

If any of you need some assistance with FL Studio or music synthesis in general, I'd be happy to lend a hand. Add me on Skype, send me a PM, contact me through Facebook, SoundCloud, or whatever happens to suit your fancy!

I'm letterONE, known as of now as spindash! and I do whatever kind of music I want, usually it's related to Drum n Bass music and Chiptune. I'm "signed" to a "record label" called Depot Free Media. Yup.

Now... how does one log into the Pony.fm website?

Hey, more DnB artists! *Yay* :)

It's neat that you're "signed" to a "record label". (What are the "quotations" supposed to mean exactly?)

And nobody can log in quite yet. As of now, only Feld0 has an account, and we're simply giving input as artists, so that he can sculpt Pony.FM to the needs/wants of us as composers. Later on we'll be getting our own beta accounts, and we'll be able to upload our stuff for initial testing/debugging of the website.

Anyhow, welcome to the team!

The "quotations" are there because DFM is not really a real record label. It's more a website in which you can share your music. But it does have all the fancy release numbers and that kinda stuff. :P

Thanks for the info about logging in and crap, I should have known that. Derp derp derp!

The name's Arkane. I'm nopony special. I do Metal Music but more specifically on Symphonic Metal or just Plain Metal with an Orchestra backing it. I dont limit myself to metal. I explore and try to learn other Genres. I want to be flexible in making songs so that when the time comes where I'm needed to make something I'm unfamiliar with, I'd have little to no problem.

Most of my songs can be found on my youtube channel.
http://www.youtube.com/user/galiant609

But I have tons on my Soundcloud account!
http://soundcloud.com/arkanemetal

This soundcloud account was for an Album I made months ago
https://soundcloud.com/phb-oc-themes

This is my FB page. It has only 60 followers and it isnt that great nor active. I just use it whenever I want to post songs so that it wont appear on people's newsfeed and annoy them.
https://www.facebook.com/Arkane609Music

This one's a very VERY VEEEEEEEEEEEEERY old and outdated album. My first album actually.
http://mlpforums.com/topic/27992-so-ive-decided-to-put-this-old-discontinued-album-out/?hl=metal%2C+album%2C+arkane#entry653998

A Little something about me:

I do voice acting ( I get the role of an antagonist frequently. why? Iunno 0_0 ), I dont like being treated like someone famous (It boils me uo. :I ), I make songs for free provided that there's no deadline (That means I will make a song for your project or other kinds of stuff if you wont give me a deadline for it.), I love spaghetti that has those sliced up hotdogs. You know! The kinds that are used for birthday parties for kids. :3

Soo.. Yeah.. HI GUYS!!

I'm Battlemuffins and I make all kinds of music! I don't really like to stick to just one genre, I do whatever feels right at the time, but I always add a dash of my very own style to whatever I make. I'm very new to music and I only just recently began making music that isn't terrible, and I can't wait to get started with everyone :)

Hi there! I'm Austin and... well im not really a musicial at all! Well I have dabbled in all sorts since joing the fandom at the end of S2. Though the one thing I am is a Vector artist, some of my work has been on this very site (At the time of posting the rainbow dash in the header image is by me :Dhttp://austiniousi.deviantart.com) so deviantart is my domain of sorts. Though I love all things tech and I have done a bit of web design so I guess I am the "User" POV instead of the Music creator which I hope will still be helpfull xD

I was born/I live in New Zealand and hope to pursue a career in Computer science and its great to be here!

Heyo, I'm Wolfy on the boards, but "Wolfblur" by musician title I guess.

I still consider myself a bit new to the fandom since I got into ponies around June this year, but I'm loving every bit of it. Anyways, have been making music via the computer and whatnot since 2005, and have been playing guitar since 2000. I love doing video gamey music and other themed compositions, so making original pony songs is an absolute blast. Can do sequenced junk, electric and acoustic guitar, electric bass, and vocals if anyone is ever down for a collab or something!

As for myself more, I'm a moderator over at this forum called Sonic Stadium, love foxes and wolves for some reason, pretty big into video games, and Rainbow Dash is best pony :U! Really looking forward to getting to know you guys and stuff, since I don't really know anyone in the MLP community yet haha.

So yeah, hi!

Hey, I'm Zacharias. I've been making (or trying to rather) chiptunes since August 2011 without any musical background at all

(actually my mom signed me up for a piano class when I was 6 but I just went home instead and she said it was ok if I didn't want to go)...but I still believe that with enough time on my hands and trustworthy sources, I can make decent music on my own. I got sucked into the genre because I always loved the music of 8-bit and 16-bit games, and I wanted to know how these things worked...

My favourite system to write for is the NES and all its awesome expansions japanese games had.

Well, looks like I'm jumping in here.

Not a whole lot more can be said here than in my intro thread of the forums, so I'm basically just repeating it here. I'm primarily a metal musician, occasionally dabbling in other styles. Most of my music involves video game music remixing. I'm an OverClocked ReMixer; if anyone's familiar with OC ReMix's extremely strict Judges Panel and QA criteria, you know what kind of caliber of musicianship and production it takes to get posted there. I myself have two remixes approved by the Judges Panel and one remix direct-posted. I'm also co-directing a Gunstar Heroes remix album with the OC ReMix community, intended to be an OCR release. One of my remixes was also featured on the official Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collectors Set, being chosen along with about 20 others from a submission pool of over 500 fan remixes from that game series created solely for SF's 25th anniversary.

I started doing brony music about two or three months ago, depending on how you look at it, doing mainly metal covers of songs from the show. My very first full pony cover was spotlighted on EqD, accidentally omitted from the article due to a coding error by Sethisto, and was subsequently spotlighted the very next day after that. Since then, I've been spotlighted two more times, with the other two tracks put into Music of the Day posts. EqD's pre-listeners are not the most consistent talent filter, but being featured several times ended up nabbing me at least two thirds of my YouTube subscriber count, assisting what little notoriety I have as a metal musician in two remix cultures dominated by electronica.

One of my current goals in this fandom, and possibly on the site given the intended social aspect of Pony.fm, is to start a blog either hosted there or linked from there that objectively spotlights extremely high-quality brony music, using the standards of OverClocked ReMix as a base for judging criteria. Hopefully, I can help this site reach fruition.

Hi all!

I would've been a musician posting violin on .fm except I don't have a decent mic so...

I'm a composer who composes classical and electronica. I love using rondo form (ABACA)

I compose piano music but never (or at least, not any that I like) violin music.

For electronica I use Cubase and I've no idea what genre I compose in. I like adding programmatic elements though (such as dissonance to represent a crash), although they aren't very noticeable.

I have a piano piece on EqD, but that was because it had to do with My Little Dashie (those people are really biased imho)

Since Twi's my favourite pony, I composed Twilight Fantasy for violin and piano, which was a complete failure. I then composed a "continuation" for solo piano which was still a bit of a failure. =P

Moar facts: My pieces used to be in the 7-8 minute range but they're way too repetitive so I cut them down to 3 minutes.

Speaking of programmatic elements, I'm also a programmer who doesn't know any web languages other than the not-really-a-language html/css.

Well, I hope to be able to help around here. :3

Hey, welcome to the club. It's unfortunate, but most of us have the same opinions I'm sure. ;)
