The suspense from the original has been completely killed off in the remake. To top it off, they FORCE you to fight it in a specific way, taking away the various fun strategies that one could've done in the original game. He has the infamous ability Zantetsuken from regular Odin which either auto kills you and your party or does massive damaging giving you a small bit of HP left. I can't say I hate the boss as much as the ability but I would always get soooo close to beating him and he would be like HA NOPE! *Zantetsuken* How great it felt to beat him though... it was glorious. But that's not all, the next day I found my little brother in my wii setting deleting all my save file for all my games including Paper Mario. The entire game is like bashing your head against a brick wall, untill your head becomes softer and easier with every break. You die? you lose maximum health with every death. The first fight with Red on Spyro a hero's tail is so bullshit it's ridiculous, especially on the second tier of the fight when he starts shooting 3 ice beams at once like an a**hole PS:I had to stop for a while to regain my sanity... As for levels, Gloomy Glacier is the one level I absolutely can not stand for the life of me! Now that I am older & know how to actually plan ahead a bit more, they aren't AS bad, but they are still really, really annoying to beat. Especially when you have to beat a freaking CHAMPION right after you used EVERY SINGLE BLOODY HEALING/REVIVE ITEM YOU HAD so you have to just play for another hour STRAIGHT beating as many of the E4 as possible just to get money to BUY more items SO YOU CAN LOSE THEM ALL AGAIN RIGHT BEFORE THE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made Dark Souls look extremely generous with its bonfires. Easier in some ways, but man, world 5 and the later parts of world 1 had me raging pretty good. I tried to do world 5 first, not knowing what I was getting into. You have to destroy the Zeppelin's core (which is exposed in the open, fuck logic) while having your ass kicked by all the enemies who are extremely powerful and hard to defeat! I kept on running out of ammo for both of my weapons before I even got to the core! And everytime Elizabeth revived me, I would get killed again instantly! The one boss that makes me rage so hard, up to now, is Alduin the dragon in Skyrim. Holy crap, that dragon is practically INVINCIBLE! He makes The Nihilanth from Half-Life look like Bowser when it comes to how hard/easy it is to him! I force him to land with the Dragonrend Shout, then I use my Nighting-Gale bow (fully charged) and waste a ton of poisoned Ebony arrows on him, only to get his Health-Bar down by a millimetre! Oh yeah, and he's stupifyingly powerful aswell. Even if I drink a Potion of Resist Fire, I still die instantly! And I'm still stuck on that boss!
