My personal favourite movie has to be Aliens. It has almost everything I like in movies; Great characters, suspense, drama, a bit of horror, and a bit of action, and a bit of humour. Whenever there's a movie starring a group of people who will inevitably be killed off, they normally end up being so bland and/or unlikeable that we want them to die. In Aliens however, we want to see the characters make it. Whenever a character dies, we wish they didn't die, because we wanted to see more of them. The only thing this movie doesn't have for me is a thought-provoking plot that you'd see in something like The Matrix or Inception. Only those kinds movies tend to not have everything else I listed. That being said, I don't think I could do this movie justice. Is Aliens the greatest film of all time? No, of course not. This is just my personal favourite.

My personal least favourite movie is Daddy Day Camp (or any other films like it). While Aliens offered about everything I liked in movies, (not that I'm comparing Aliens to Daddy Day Camp,) Daddy Day Camp showcases everything I absolutely hate in movies. It's an uninspired cliché-ridden film, the story is contrived and far from engaging, it has (what I guess are supposed to be) jokes you can see from a mile away, which aren't even good ideas for jokes to begin with. As a result of growing up with a family who watched these kinds of films all the time, I've grown to despise these kinds of films.

My favorite six films are the Star Wars Saga. But I must choose Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back as my favorite single film.

My least favorite is either The Last Exorcism Part 2 or Disaster Movie. Epic Movie is also very close to those two as well.

My all time favorite movie? Dang, that's a hard decision. Mine probably is Inception. I like how thought provoking it is and how, in a way, lets you decide the ending. I'm not shore about my least favorite, though.

I loved Black Hawk Down

If anyone knows any good war movies let me know! I'm always looking for a new way to get my guns and action fill.

Glory and Saving Private Ryan are good war movies. I recommend watching those if you haven't seen them.

  • 1 month later...

Well I bet this has already been discussed on these forums a lot but I'm very new here and super curious what my fellow bronies like in their movies? Because my favorite is the Godfather and I am into some movies which are pretty unlike My Little Pony... So I wanted to know if y'all have similar tastes in movies as you do in shows? :) So this means I also want to know what's everyone favorite film genre as well??

So as I said, the Godfather and horror are mine, how's about you ponies? c:
