He extended his hoof to the unicorn, to shake. "North Arrow."
(I'm going to bed all, nite!)

Arcane nodded as he accepted the hoof and shook it, "Nice to meet you. Mind if I ask what benefit you are to the group? No offence if any was felt"

She untied a few pieces of rope and unrolled it. Inside were several throwing knives, A bowie knife, two butterfly knives a switch blade one jungle king dagger and one kitchen aid knife. "Pretty sweet huh...I also have a wakizashi." She grinned mischievously and rolled up the case.
Magneus looked over to the array of blades and chuckled, "Oh, those look to be indeed useful, are you going to be sharing those with the group? I would think it would be kinda useless to keep them all to yourself since you can only use one at a time" he asked reluctantly asked her, he didn't want to get on this ponies bad side if she had one.

"Dyn," he said in a rather deep voice suiting his size. "I'm a chef, and I studied at least some edible flora before I arrived. I should be able to make sonething at least consumable, but I can't promise about the taste."
Magneus turned to Dyn and smiled, "Any food is better than nothing, besides, I'm not a picky eater. What are some of the foods you know how to cook perfectly though? Surely those would be used most on our journey, unless they are harder to prepare, I wouldn't want to spend 20 minutes waiting for food, 8 or 12 minutes is a respectable time for a meal to be prepared and served. Actually, nevermind, since the group size seems to be at larger numbers than four, 18 minutes would be about correct cooking time. Sorry if I'm rambling on, I tend to do that a lot."

(OoC: I think North Arrow was talking to Dyn. Also, aren't you playing Arcane in this? :P Just asking, I wasn't sure if you had two characters or what.)

Dyn shook the extended hoof even though he saw North Arrow waver slightly. He didn't want to offend anyone; he was just not the social type.

"Nice to meet you, North Arrow," he said genuinely. "That shouldn't be a problem; I'd be more concerned about us being the meat than anything else. That jungle is designed to kill anything that tries to get through-even the plants would eat a pony."

He turned his dark indigo gaze to Arcane.

"The food we're going to be having won't be a masterpiece, so don't get your hopes up. It's going to be stuff that provides a lot of energy. We can't afford precious space to go to waste on stuff that takes up a lot of room and won't do us any good on this journey."

He took a massive saddlebag off his back and showed him five tiny jars. "This is all the food I'm bringing. They're different types of crushed root, each with energizing properties. Mix some in the meal and we're good to go." He put them back in the bag, careful to hide his other posessions, and slung it over his back.

North looked reasonably impressed at Diamond's extensive knife collection. "Simply magnificent. I've never really gotten the knack for using throwing knives myself. It's a kind of flick, isn't it?" He flicked his wrist experimentally, then shook his head, smiling back at Diamond. "I keep only one, for when this doesn't suit my purposes." With this statement, he pulled a slingshot out of his own saddlebag.

"Its...Its beautiful, Slingshots are very underestimated, If you use one the right way than they can be quite powerful. You better hold on to that." Diamond smiled and gestured for the waitress to come over. "Hi, I was just wondering if you would be ever so kind as to get me another cup of tea, Thank you very much." She said.

(OOC: Arcane isn't Magneus for this RP PWD  ;) )

Then she turned her attention to Arcane. "I am going to have to talk to everypony about that...I will tell you where they are so if you need them you can use them. But I don't want anypony going through my things so they can cut an apple or play with them...Or something. They will be for emergencies only...Unless I say so." She said. "I also don't believe we have met...My name is Light Diamond." She shook Arcane's hoof and smiled.

"Dyn," he said in a rather deep voice suiting his size. "I'm a chef, and I studied at least some edible flora before I arrived. I should be able to make sonething at least consumable, but I can't promise about the taste."

"Its wonderful to meet you Dyn, I am happy to help with the cooking if you ever need it so don't hesitate to ask." She smiled at him. *He seems...Interesting." She thought, taking her tea from the waitress and taking a couple sips. *It may not be the best tea in the world...But it isn't that bad.*

(OOC: Can we stop for the night? Also, can someone care to start an conversation with me?)

Diamond grinned. "Oops, My mistake. I have a tent, I still need to get more food, I need to refill my canteens and...Trust me, I am well prepared to defend myself...And everypony else." She drank the last little bit of her tea. "This jungle doesn't know what its in for. You gotta see my knife collection." She chuckled and pulled a large pouch from her huge saddlebag and placed it on the table. She untied a few pieces of rope and unrolled it. Inside were several throwing knives...

He looked over to Diamond's collection of knifes and made a comment. "Heh, you have more knifes than the ones I have at home, and mine are all silverware... and also I forgot to say that I'm Leaf Orange."

"Dyn," he said in a rather deep voice suiting his size. "I'm a chef, and I studied at least some edible flora before I arrived. I should be able to make something at least consumable, but I can't promise about the taste."

He then turned over to somepony he thought was called Dyn. "So I heard you're name's Dyn, nice to meet you, and good job volunteering to be chef for this journey. Also, the name's Leaf Orange, but you know what to call me by."

He took a massive saddlebag off his back and showed him five tiny jars. "This is all the food I'm bringing. They're different types of crushed root, each with energizing properties. Mix some in the meal and we're good to go." He put them back in the bag, careful to hide his other posessions, and slung it over his back.

"Okay, those things give us certain side effects, but good?" Leaf dared asked.

"Wait, how do you hold it, Okay why am I questioning logic again?" He both asked and questioned himself at the same time.

Leaf Orange was enjoying meeting all of these ponies who would be at his side, It wouldn't hurt to have them for protection while protecting himself, but he'd have to protect them back to return the favor. But the thing he was worried about was Flip Flair, lost, maybe even dead! "No, wait, that can never be possible, she never comes back dead..." Leaf thought to himself.

Arcane nodded as he accepted the hoof and shook it, "Nice to meet you. Mind if I ask what benefit you are to the group? No offence if any was felt"

(OOC: Could you do us a favour and use one name for Arcane consistently? It gets confusing if you don't.)

North Arrow smiled faintly. "Nice to meet you too, and no offense taken, if you don't mind me asking you the same question in turn. Anyway... Me? I'm here to make sure we don't all get lost, and that nopony sneaks off by themselves. The forest is far too dangerous for that. My experience in the field will be appreciated. Don't worry."

North smiled. He hadn't expected so positive a reaction to his slingshot. Usually he had to prove ponies wrong for scoffing at him about it. He nodded, and glanced to the waitress. "You know, that tea smells good. I'd like a cup as well." The waitress brought him one, and he sipped it gingerly, and found that he enjoyed it.

(OOC: Ragneous IS Arcane. Apparently Arcane was known as Ragneous when he lived in another universe, and still refers to himself as such. I hope that PWD will oblige to my request, to stick to one name, and not use both interchangably. )

North shook the large unicorn's hoof firmly. "I know, I've been before. Barely got out alive, but at least we know what to expect." He nodded approvingly at the energy roots that Dyn had in his saddlebag. "What type of roots are those, and how long could they last us?" He asked, curiously. He wondered if he could get any from Evergreen's Garden next time he visited...

(OoC: I'm finishing up my final version of my D&D character-yay, I finally did it-so while I'll be checking for updates I may not be posting. I think people are going to bed now anyways :P Also, thank you for the explanation, Descant. :))

Dyn was a little surprised at all the sudden introductions but took it in stride, answering each pony individually.

"It's wonderful to meet you as well," he first responded to the only mare on the trip, a fairly pretty pegasus whom most of the stallions seemed to be drooling over. Dyn had never really noticed mares; it may have been the female side of him. "I appreciate the offer, but I prefer to work alone," he continued firmly.

He dipped his head at Leaf. "Yes, that's correct, my name is Dyn." He didn't say anything else, not wanting to mention that he had been hired.

Finally, he returned his attention to North.

"I'm not sure," he confessed. "I actually created most of them myself. The reddish-brown only grows in the far north where I reside, and I bred four other types from it after discovering its properties. Each bottle should last about a week, maybe more if we're careful. It depends how much is needed that day."

"You are the chef, chef." Diamond smiled and shook Dyn's hoof.

She then leaned back in her chair and stretched her wings. *Ah, That's better.* She thought, when she heard a couple satisfying crack's. *I should probably go pay for my room.* She stood up and trotted over to the pony at the bar. "Hello there, I am going to need a room. Just for tonight please."

The bar tender nodded and held out a key. She smiled and took the key from the colt, Then she placed a few bits onto the counter. "Thank you very much." She said, Trotting back to her chair and sitting down. *That's that taken care of...Now what.* She pulled a long list from her bag and read through. when she finished she stuck the list back into her bag. then noticed somepony sit down next to her.

(OOC: You are referring to Diamond...right ?)

Diamond smiled at the pony. "Hello...Are you also part of the expedition ?" She asked. "My name is Light Diamond...I will be everyponies escort...Er, Protection against any danger's in the forest...Or whatever you wan't to call it." She held out her hoof to shake his. "You are ?"

(OCC: LOL YEA X3 I never knew 800 words were so hard to write >.<'' Ugh)

Frost gazed at the charming mare until he realized her arm was getting tired from being outstretched for so long . He garbed the hoof of the beautiful mare and gave it a nice shake.''Greetings. Yes, I'm also part of this dreadful expedition. If I didn't know any better I would say we were supposed to protect you .'' Frost make a grin and continues speaking ''I'm Star Frost pleasure to meet and accompany you .'' ''So what is you'r choice of weaponry? ''Waitress!'' Frost yelled. ''A waitress quickly came to Frost side ''Yes ,Sir?''Get me a beer please.''  Frost hoped in all his mind he would not get drunk and ruin the fun for everyone.Frost had remembered his throwing knives, and took out this 36 inch backpack. He unzipped it and inside was 100 throwing knives ordered by sharpness and length. Frost observed the waitress from afar she trotted toward Frost , she placed the beer on the table and Frost took a sip.''Well better  cram my brain with all the research I can for the big trip and got to sharpen my knives''.Frost quickly ordered a room and sat back down.

(OOC: It is a little tough.)

Diamond chuckled. "I have been training for this kinda thing for years. I may look innocent and fragile but I could take on an Ursa major if I wanted..." She laughed. "I'm kidding. Anyway, My choice of weaponry ? My Wakizashi and my bowie knife...Also my jungle king."

She smiled and pulled out a wakizashi with a black sheath from her bag. "This is my baby." She giggled and pulled the blade out of the sheath. Her eyes sparkled as she admired her sword. The blade was black with very very dark purple swirls that looked to be moving. "A unicorn enchanted it so it never has to be sharpened. Its very old. Here, You can hold it if you'd like." She smiled and held out the sword for Frost. "I also enjoy using my Bowie knife...Which I said before, Anyway, They are my two weapons of choice...I also have a few throwing knives...and a butterfly knife...And a couple traps we can set around our camp...just some snares and stuff." She took a few more sips of her tea.

A flame colored pegasus was flying through the desert on his way to Timbucktu, with a streak of fire following him while he remembered the letter sent by none other than Princess Celestia herself.

Dear Flare Blitz,

You have chosen, among the best and wisest of my subjects, to participate in an expedition to find the fabled Heart of the Jungle. If you choose to accept this invitation, you should travel to the city Timbucktu in the Zebran Desert, far to the south. From there, you and your fellow adventurers shall travel across the sea, to the dangerous lands beyond, the Amblezon Jungle. This is one journey you may not return from. But if you find the Heart, you will be recognized, in front of all Equestria, as one of the greatest explorers to ever live.

Yours truly, and best of luck,

                     Princess Celestia

As soon as he read it he started packing. It had been a while since his last adventure and, while it was a nice town, Ponyville was getting WAY to boring for him. Besides how could somepony like Flare Blitz pass up a chance to find the legendary Heart of The Jungle? He had wanted to go on this adventure for a while and he finally had his chance.

Flare soon saw a city and landed by the entrance, skidding to a halt as sand flew up around him and a guard. “Welcome to Timbucktu, I’m guessing you with the Heart of The Jungle exploration?” he asked Flare. “Yep that sounds about right.” Flare Blitz responded. “In that case your companions are in there.” The guard said pointing to a building that obviously had quite a few ponies in it. “Thanks.” Flare said walking over to the building. “Pretty cool city” he said to himself while he walked. “It’s a shame Solaris couldn’t come with me, he would have loved this heat.” Solaris was Flare’s pet phoenix that he had met on his first adventure. They usually go on adventures together but Solaris was currently going through the final part of a phoenix’s life cycle before they turn to ash and are reborn. The phoenix barley had any feathers left and was in no condition for a journey this dangerous, so Flare left him at home with a pet sitter.

Flare introduced himself to what he assumed were his companions as he walked in. “Hey I’m Flare Blitz, but you all can just call me Flare.” He said in his usual happy-go luck tone. As Flare Blitz looked around he was surprised some of these ponies were here but if Celestia invited them then they must be special in some way.

Hop watched the pony while he looked at the table and she gave a small look of confusion and interest. It always made her wonder what was going through a ponies mind when they kept away eye contact from other ponies. But for Somber it seemed he was a little uncomfortable, which was understandable considering no pony here knew each other and that she was up front with him. "A scam? I don't think anyone would come up with such an idea. And to answer your question I believe we are supposed to be traveling to the center of the forest. For what reasons I have no clue." she took a moment to study the stallion some more, who was still looking at the table. "Is there something wrong? You keep staring at the table and...it just strikes me curious. Are you not really wanting to go on this, because you know you didn't have to. Its not like the princess was going to throw you in jail or anything like that." Her voice soft showing her curiosity. Hop ordered a second cup of tea and again thanked the waiter. "You want some, Somber?" she asked offering him some.

((OOC: Confound you ponies. I close my eyes for about 8 hours, and I get a freaking ton of posts. Oh well. Anyways, advanced RP on phone will be torture for me...))

"Well.... I mainly wanted to go on this expedition... To conquer my unnatural fear of jungles... And I'm guessing this letter was the gateway to that...", Somber shyly replied to Hop. "It's not that I don't want to... It's just a bit weird, considering that I'm not the adventurous type... I'm only a songwriter. And what would a songwriter like me be doing in the jungles of wherever the buck this is?"

He was trying to recollect his thoughts until Hop had offered him some tea. "Oh, uh... Thank you.", he calmly complied, as he took the cup from her.

The tea still seemed to be hot, as he blew away the steam lightly before taking an experimental sip. At first, the taste buds weren't clashing well with the drink, but after a few seconds, his expression showed that he was content with the tea.

"Oh... This is actually some delicious tea. Though, I can't describe the flavor... I think I can taste chamomile..."

(OOC: Hey mlpsquad, Please dont control Diamond. She wouldn't really be scared of a throwing knife in the wall.)

After chatting with Frost, Diamond finished her tea and sat quietly until she noticed a new pony come in through the door. *Wow, How many ponies are in this expedition ?* She thought, Smiling at Flare. "Good afternoon Flare, My name is Light Diamond, Its nice to meet you." She smiled and shook his hoof, then ordered another cup of tea.

He looked over to Diamond's collection of knifes and made a comment. "Heh, you have more knifes than the ones I have at home, and mine are all silverware... and also I forgot to say that I'm Leaf Orange."

"So, Leaf. Why did you decide to come on this expedition ? And what exactly is your job on this expedition ?" She asked, smiling and sipping her tea.

*All of these ponies seem...Interesting.* She thought. "I heard you asking about how many ponies will be on this trip and I am starting to wonder the same thing. Every time I think everypony has arrived I am surprised to find out that we are still waiting on a few...We can't really have that many more ponies after Flare though. I mean, We might but that would be one big expedition crew." She shrugged her shoulders and drank some more of her tea.

(OOC: I always take so long to post because of the character limit...)

"If you really want to know, The Heart of the Jungle isn't THAT important to me, but my cousin about a week ago left here to go to this place called the Amblezon, I've waited for a week and she haven't come back! But luckily  Princess Celestia sent me a letter about be chosen to go on this trip, I think she noted my endurance and my common sense in the letter, So basically, That's how I ended up here." Leaf explained as calmly as possible to Light Diamond. He then began to wonder how everyone would react to his story, would they be of no help? Shock? Saddened? Those feeling to him wouldn't be necessary to him, but it would spice up the mood a bit for him. "And I think there is eleven of us here who had just arrived including me, So exploring the jungle shouldn't be that bad If we all stick together as a group, as long as not to many of us get killed in that area." he said, expressing his opinion. Hopefully, by the time they depart, then get on the jungle island, all of his questions would be solved.

(OOC: Its alright, It takes me a while as well.)

Diamond sat quietly listening to Leaf.

When he finished she said. "I will do whatever I can to help find your cousin, Leaf. And don't worry about any of the crew getting killed. I am going to do my best to make sure that doesn't happen." She gave him a comforting smile and finished her third cup of tea. "Well, I am going to go to my room and prepare for tomorrow." She stood up and grabbed her bag. "It was nice talking with you Leaf." She nodded at him then trotted towards a flight of stairs. She flew up then flew to the door at the very end of the hall. She unlocked it and trotted in.

*I gotta go fill my canteen's and grab some food...Then I think I am ready to go.* She thought, Placing her bag on the small bed in the corner of the room.

She pulled out several canteens from her bag and trotted back downstairs to the bar tender. "Hello, I was just wondering where I would be able to fill these up." She said, Gesturing at the bottles. "There's a well out back." He said. Diamond nodded and trotted out the door towards a small well.

Arcane had somehow spaced out, lost in thought, even though he was talking to somepony just a second ago. 'I'm risking my entire life just for research? I could just do other smaller work to amount to this... but nobody has studied the Heart of the Jungle thoroughly, and if i even get the smallest details, that's sure to mean a great deal. Gah, i hate it when i really start to think'.

He soon later snapped back to reality, and he had no idea what was going on. "Uh, i wasn't quite listening, sorry. When do we head out? I suspect tomorrow since we spent most of today just getting to this town" he deducted. He wasn't any Sherclop Holmes, but anypony half as smart as him would deduct that in just the same amount of time.

He called over the waitress and asked what they had. "Mostly drinks, the actual food mostly consists of insects" the waitress told Arcane. He shuddered at the thought of eating bugs, even if it was peanut butter covered grasshoppers. "I'll just have a bit of water." "If you have a canteen then you can fill that up outside, no need to order it. Just head out to the back and you will find a well" Arcane nodded and got up from his seat, then he noticed how many ponies actually showed up for the journey.

'Dang, how many ponies are going? This is bigger than my researching group' he thought before leaving to get some water. He noticed Diamond by the well getting water as well (no pun intended). He waited for her to finish filling up her containers before he started to get some for himself. "You really gonna need that much water? I wouldn't be able to drink all that in a week"

He waited for her to finish filling up her containers before he started to get some for himself. "You really gonna need that much water? I wouldn't be able to drink all that in a week"

Diamond smiled at Arcane. "I will probably end up drinking all these in a couple days. Its very very very hot out here and we are all going to need lots and lots of water to stay healthy." She said, Screwing on the lids to her canteen's. (Canteen's...Its weird to say)

"Plus, Its not just for drinking, If we ever need to boil water than we can use this. We will need to drink water from rivers and stuff that we come across...So we are going to have to boil water anyway but I would rather have extra than not enough." She said.

Diamond looked up at the cloudless sky then at the horizon, A large cloud could be seen moving in their direction. "That's a sand storm...It'll be here soon. I'm going to go inside and let everypony know they should fill up their water before it gets here." She said, walking back into the inn. "Hey everypony...There is a large dust storm coming in out direction, You may want to fill up your canteen's before it gets here." She said.

(OOC: If you guys don't like the idea of a dust storm just tell me and I can edit this post. I just thought it would be fun.)

Hop nodded her head in approval for his want to conquer his fears. Not many ponies were willing to do so even if it was something easy. "well I wouldn't know, but im pretty sure im here because im a physiatrist. Its bad to have ponies unwilling to continue because of low moral. And the possibility of death is always going to be there. Just be careful and you should be fine, but don't get paranoid." she then paused for a second before continuing. "I also here there are trees that can eat a pony whole. Not that I would want it to happen to any pony but still, I think its rather interesting. And there are also supposed to be quick sand all over the place." her voice made it sound as though both those things would be fun. She then heard a pony say something about a sand storm and looked over to find a Purple mare with a lot of canteens. "Well I better go fill up my canteens. Catch you around." with that she got up and went out side to the well.

*Room 34, room 34...ah! there it is.* she thought to herself as she inserted the key into the key hole and entered the room. It was small with a window and one bed. The furnishings all had that zebra feel to them. Hop set her stuff down in a corner and jumped on the bed to test it. It was fairly soft... softer than her one back home. She needed a new bed anyways and decided to get one after this trip. Hop began to wonder what was at the center of the forest and why they needed to get there in the first place. For her it didn't make since, but she didn't want to pass up such an opportunity given by Princess Celestia. She could be sitting at home right now brewing some tea, and possibly have some company over. Maybe even go to a museum, or lie in the grassy field of Ponyville and do nothing. But... she decided to come here instead. She hopped to become acquainted with every pony by the end of all of this, but she knew it was possible they may never come back.

North overheard talk of a sandstorm, and decided it was time to take finish up his preparations before he was unable to do so. First on his list... Refill his canteen. He made his way to the well that was behind the tavern, and saw that there was a short line. He tapped his hoof and waited patiently. As he did, he did see the large, dust-coloured cloud growing in the distance... He estimated they had an hour until it arrived.

Once his canteens had been refilled to brimming, North went back inside the Grazing Zebra and began the lengthy search for a room. The tavern seemed rather disorganized in how it was built; it seemed to have had several additions made to it, and room numbers would jump dozens at a time. Finally, he found his way to Room 63, which was, for some reason, next to Room 34, and appeared to be newer. He rolled his eyes at the numbering system, and inserted his key into the lock.

Placing the full canteens into the room, North went outside to try and collect the smoothest pebbles he could before the sandstorm hit, dropping them into a small pouch in his saddlebag. Usually he preferred to use gemstones as ammunition, but the price of gemstones had recently gone up exponentially when a dragon raided the Gemstone Treasury in the Canterlotian Mountains.

After telling everypony about the sand storm, Diamond trotted up the stairs to her room. As she was unlocking the door she noticed the room number. *Seventeen ?* She looked at the room next to hers. *Thirty.* She looked at the room two rooms down from hers *Sixty three.* Then she looked at the room across the hall. *Thirty four...What is up with these rooms ?* She thought, unlocking the door to her room and walking in.

She placed her canteen's in her bag then lay down on the bed. *This bed is not very comfortable...* She thought, sitting up and opening the window. She opened her wings and flew out. *I wanna get a look at this sandstorm from the sky.* She thought, flying high into the sky and looking at the massive cloud of sand which was slowly creeping closer to the city. *So cool.* She smiled and flew back down to her room.

She closed the window and made a mental note to go outside and look a the storm in a few minutes. "I wanna see this thing when its closer." She muttered, pulling a book from her bag and sitting down on a chair in the corner of her room.

(OOC: I dunno if any of you have seen a sandstorm when it gets close but...Its Freaking Awesome Looking.)

After the conversation parted, Leaf Orange thought about something. "I don't really want to count on my friends canteens and I don't got one, so I'll just get one at the store across the street." he thought. Just when he was headed outside, he saw some homeless guy who was selling a he found canteen, but was a good deal, It was for one bit so he bought it from him, he then started to head in to the lane of rooms where he and his friends would be staying, they each had a key with a certain number that indicates a certain room. His was room was room thirty, which for some odd reason was next to room number seventeen. "I'm guessing the guy who built this place must have dropped out when he was in kindergarden..." Leaf said. He went up to it, unlocked the room, and closed the door behind him. "Wait, didn't Diamond say there was some sort of sandstorm of something?" he wondered and preceded to look out the window of his room, and there. He could clearly see it. The wind picking up the sand and twirling around itself, maybe blinding someone.

Flare was eating something he had ordered from the bar. He wasn't quite sure what it was or if he even liked it but he was hungry and tired from traveling the huge desert that surrounded the city and ate it anyway. As he was finishing up Diamond came in warning everypony of a sandstorm that was heading their way. "Well it's about time something interesting happened." Flare says in response. He checked his bag to see how much water he had left. He hadn't drank too much considering he didn't find the dessert that hot, thanks to his heat resistance. But he figured he might as well get as much fresh water as he can purely because, not only does jungle water taste awful even when purified, but because he wasn't sure if they would even find much water and what kind of poisons would be in it if they did. As he went out to the well to refill he took a long look at the sandstorm. "Oh that is bucking cool." Flare said ecstatically. "And I thought the fun wouldn't start until we got to the jungle." He then filled all his canteens up and went to find his room.

"Lets see I'm in room 44. Alright then" he said as he started looking at the room numbers. "32, 33, 67, 3- wait what was that last one?" Flare said backing up to see the rooms skipped by quite a lot of numbers. As he continued he saw that room 64 was right next to 34 with 44 across from it. "Hmm these zebras have quite an interesting way of counting." he says before putting in his card key and entering the room.

"Wait a minute... Trees that eat ponies whole? And-and QUICKSAND?! I didn't know that was part of a jun-- Oh, bye...", Somber could shyly say to Hop as she left him by himself, only to worry about this new feeling of jungles...

Great, now I was confident going in... And I'm near confident of LEAVING! This is horrible! Pony-eating trees?! Oh no, no way! But... I need to confront my fears... Just like I vowed... *sighs* I hate deciding...

Somber got up and left the small shop, beginning to check out the local shops. There, he had found a smaller shop that sold canteens. That would be imperative to his survival... He bought two of them, and left for the hotel that was designated to with the rest of the adventurers.

"All right... Room 67... this is it." Inserting his card key, Somber entered and fell back on the bed. There was only one item that he brought: his guitar. He was getting nervous about this trip... Nervous of the dangers. That was the perfect cue to start playing his guitar. Taking it out of the case, he started strumming the strings, his hoof moving up the bridge.

(OOC: As an example

For added effect, Play this song while watching.

After reading her book for a few minutes, Diamond stood up and trotted into her bathroom. She had a quick bath. *This will most likely be the last warm bath I have in a long time.* She thought drying herself off and brushing her mane and tail. When she trotted out of the bathroom she glanced out the window and smiled.

She trotted over and opened it up, She smiled at the gigantic sandstorm that was now towering over the city. *Amazing.* She thought, as the wind slowly began to pick up. *I hope everypony is seeing this.* She thought, resting her head on her hoof admiring the storm. *I also hope everypony is inside...I have heard gets pretty dark when these things come around.* She thought.

She grabbed her camera (Which ponies do have) and took a couple pictures.

*I think I am going to go grab another cup of tea.* She placed her camera back in her bag then trotted down the stairs and ordered a cup of tea from the bar. "Another one ?" The waitress smiled and trotted into the kitchen.
