instead of love and true caring for others,

they do their actions for pride.

instead of converting because they care

they convert because they want pride.

and kids' church is not much better,

they do nothing to stregnthen their spirit

That makes no sense.

How could you get the feeling of pridefulness out of converting someone?

Also my church teaches against pride.

And we try to preach the gospel because we believe that people are going to hell.

If we were truly a prideful we would laugh in your face and tell you you're going to hell.

Modern day Christianity is actually a HELL of allot more toned down than it used to be.

Please elaborate more on what you're saying.

Obviously, I'm not getting something.

You're talking about the Catholic and Methodist churches. I'm not taking a shot at Catholics and Methodist churches, I've just been told by Catholics that I should be burned because I'm a Baptist. And Methodist, I'm sorry if you're a Methodist, but they don't follow a lot of rules within the Bible.

It might seem insane to you,

but yeah, I've seen some who are pretty bad.

Not to immediately assume that you're evil/unfaithful (i.e.: what a nondenominational that im describing would do)

No I wouldn't say it's insane.

I'd say it's downright judgmental.

You're mad at an entire group of extemely diverse people.

Non-denominationals are actually more diverse than any other group within Christianity.

Why?

Every non-denominational Christian believes basically that Jesus died for their sins.

That's basically what all of them have in common.

There's no denomination to tell them what else to believe, therefore making them so diverse that you can't judge them as a group.

Also, I classify as a non-denominational.

Why I said not all of them.

I just know some like that.

It might be a thing in other denominations. I wouldn't know.

If it feels like im dissing/being offensive, I just have steam to blow off.

Understandable.

There are bad non-denominationals and good ones.

You've just ran into some bad ones.

I'm really unsure at this point. I was raised Lutheran, and still paritally believe, but I don't agree about some of the Church's views. Like abortion, gay marriage, creation, etc. I believe that abortions should only be allowed in incest or rape cases, but I firmly believe gay marriage and gay rights is okay. Evolution has a lot of points to it, but the bible teaches about one divine creator. Plus, a lot of things in the bible seem unrealistic or sexist. Keep in mind it was written by many people, complied as the founding story of one religion.

I'm thinking about just becoming a member of the Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, it's less complicated.

I believe in God as well, but I don't go to church. Around here, it's all for appearances. No one is a sincere christian, and there's tons of "if you didn't get saved here, you're not saved" attitudes. People judge you for your slightest mistakes, but never judge themselves. There's a lot of rumor spreading, cruel assuming, lying, and not a single drop of grace. Everyone is always out for themselves. Makes me sad...

*Touches the tv* Oh, Ponyville, land of friendship free of harsh judgement, how I wish you were real.  :(

that's tragic to hear, as not having a church home to go to is like being cut off from one's family, so I pray that you can find a church where the Spirit is truly moving. In the meantime don't hesitate to contact one of your brothers or sisters in Christ here; both distance and time are irrelevant for those united in Christ, after all :)

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now
After such a love as this?

I feel your sadness and anger.

This world... I wish it to be real.

I want to make it.

That's what I'll do, I'll make this world so we can all live in it and be happy ponies.

I'm a Christian but not one that goes overboard with it. I believe in God and Jesus and everything from the bible and I'm part of that religion. So I'm just a casual Christian.

I am a Seventh-day Adventist Christian (born and raised). I have been baptized into it as a member of the church also (It was my own decision to get baptized). I do believe in God, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is everypony's Saviour who died for the redemption and salvation of our sins that we may be saved. The topics I am mostly interested in that's in the Bible are the stories (which they are true. It's an undeniable fact. Not an opinion, a fact.) and the prophesies regarding the Second Coming of Jesus.

I respect everypony's decision if they decide to accept Jesus's free invitation for him to be their Saviour or not. I am not forcing anyone to repent of their sins. That is everyone's decision to make, not for me to decide for them. After all, we are all gifted with the freedom of choice.

That's all I wanted to say.

I apologize in advance if I broke any of the MLP Forums rules. I only wanted to have my say on this topic.

@@Jonny Music, Nice to meet you, and don't worry I'm quite certain your in the clear. Since the OT simply asks "are there any Christian Bronies out there?", and you simply identified as a Christian and gave a quick affirmation of basic Christian Doctrine; I couldn't see any objection. The only times this thread has gotten in a bit of trouble is when discussions that belong more to the Debate Pit or a PM discussion arise.
