With miniature cannons you still won't weigh that much so you'll be faster than the Abyss. Then you'll deliver a huge volley at close range. It seems like the Abyss is now the underpowered one. How about you have two rows of below deck miniature cannons and one row of on deck regular cannons? You are now slightly faster than the Abyss and have the same armor as the Peregrine an the Asylum.

 

I am fine with this, mind we call it The Mosquito instead? Seems a bit more appropriated for the perk.

I don't see people shuddering in fear at the mere mention of a ship called The Mosquito. I'd go with something more like Hornet if you want to make it fit your ship's capabilities. Of course it's your ship so you can name it whatever you want.

Or.. we can call it the Wasp. A bit more intimidating than Mosquitoe, and i would say a bit more seaworthy as well.

@@Sky Warden, Actually, the Wasp was changed (from the Bulwark) so it now has the most guns. One deck of regular cannons and two decks of miniature cannons (less damage) but your still welcome to join as a second crew member! If you get accepted that is.

The Black Abuss is my ship and has the biggest guns.

The Wasp has the most guns.

 

They might be around the same weight.

 

Bigger guns means more far distance shots.

More guns means get close and die.

Otherwise he would be able to teleport invisibly onto other ponies ships and literally own them while our ship gets a way and he would be able to levitate Molotovs and drop them perfectly on other ponies ships. At the amount power he has with just his magic he could probably destroy every other boat with just a rowing boat and three spells.

I'm sure any of the unicorns could do this. It would be especially easy for Sky at night... So all unicorns get to keep their magic but please don't use it excessively to where it's unfair to the rest of the ponies.

Here's an idea. How about a flamethrower? As in, a modified cannon with a fan or something, filled with oil or something, with a pilot light! Or we could just do one massive burst of the stuff.

We've discussed this already, and it's called Greek Fire. One of the ships (The Asylum, I think) already has it.

The Wasp and The Asylum are already friends...So you wont need to worry about Slicer burning down The Wasp. Plus even if we weren't The Asylum would need to get closer to The Wasp in order to burn it...And I think we can say both ships would be in quite a bit of trouble.

Just an idea/suggestion: we should also specify what color our ships are. The Sea Peregrine is a very, very deep blue, almost black. That's only the outer coating though. Everything else is regular wood. The sails are white too.

I imagine that the Black Abyss is... black?

And I was thinking that the Arbitrator would be a rich crimson with some golden enlace.

There is already an Equestrian flag so we can assume that's what the Arbitrator has. I'm guessing the Sea Peregrine's flag is going to have a peregrine on it, but I'm not the captain so I wouldn't know.

That's what all pirates do...They raise a Naval flag to trick their enemy then when the ships come closer they raise the pirate flag and then they go in for da kill.

We all carry equestrian flags to deceive our enemy. We all also have the classic "Jolly Rodger" to signal other pirates that we're one of them. But each ship also has it's own unique flag. We're still working on our's in PM.
