Do you travel much?

I'm in the "too much" group.  It's fun a lot of times, but getting around is exhausting.  In the past year, work has taken me to California, Idaho, Kentucky, Texas, Arkansas, South Carolina, Virginia, Maine, Delaware, New Jersey, Hawaii, Guam, Colombia, the Azores, Sicily, Spain, Tukey, Germany, the Netherlands, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.

 

Most fun: Guam (snorkling), Sicily (the wine) and the Azores (nightclubs)

Least fun: Qatar (lacks all of the above, or any other redeeming qualities)

Holy buck, and I thought I got around! What sort of work do you do, if you don't mind my asking? When you're in the field do you get much time to yourself? I guess so if you can sample the finer points of your destinations!

 

I envy you that you've seen such a diverse range of our world. I travel a lot but it's almost always in the arctic. I've seen a diverse range of... really cold weather

Eh, depends on what you consider alot of travel .

 

I am in school so I don't have to much time to go traveling of course, but we normally travel atleast once a year, atleast to a relatives or something. Sometimes twice or sometimes just once but to somewhere else for vacation.

 

Most of the times its just the same routine trips to relatives though.

I have been in every state but 5 I believe. I haven't went outside of the US yet, though I plan to travel to Asia sometime in the future.

 

I would say I travel one big trip every two years.

I did when I was 16-20. 

 

I was homeless at the age of 16.. got kicked out of my own home.. 

 

Anyway I had no where to go so I said why not see the world? So I went from town to town, city to city.. state to state. Working odd jobs etc etc been to ever state in the USA a least once. Now I'm stuck in Kingman AZ..

Not really, I use to a lot when I was younger.

 

Although, I am thinking about going somewhere this up coming summer.

Travelling is my hobby. I am a single male and I travel frequently alone mostly because no one else has the funds or time to travel like me. It's my passion, so I just go. I also travel with friends and meet friends around the world when they are available. If not, I'm on my own.

It's wonderful. I do everything alone that I do with friends... maybe more! Eat, drink, dance salsa or tango, walk, tour, go to movies, hang out at the parks, ride a bike, go to beach, work on suntan, watch fireworks, read books, daydream, ride metro and bus passes, drive outside cities or between cities, rent motorcycles, go to museums.

In other words - My hobby is to live my only life - to enjoy it.

I'm just hoping I can get to Paris at somepoint (hopefully soon) to see @Emperor Azurailo, that'll probably depend on Brexit, and when I have money

It's quite uncommon. Although last year I visited three neighboring states. Most years I don't even do that. The last time I visited a state that wasn't neighboring was shortly after this topic was mad (literally the same month lol).

I travel but not nearly as much as I’d like (which would be every day, everywhere). I go on one trip a year, or maybe two smaller ones, depending on the funds and availability. I look forward to it all year and base everything else around it.

I wish I could travel more but I never really have the money to do so, I'd like to one day travel across Canada since I haven't lived in the country for all that long and I'd like to see what this place has to offer.

In recent years, I've begun to travel much more frequently. Usually around 3-4 times a year. Traveling has always been one of my passions and if I had the funds I'd certainly be doing it a lot more. So many countries, so little time.

I don't travel much anymore. I used to back in the days. I just like being home with my pet ducks.
