Diamond chuckled at Nightfall. "I wish you luck...I'll be here to help if you need it." She said, Smiling.

She then turned to Ty. "Ty...You are probably going to want an apron." She smiled again, then she trotted over to the fridge. She pulled out the chocolate bowl's that everypony had made the day before, and placed them on the counter, then she took out a few strange looking ingredients...They almost looked like...Crystal.

Nightfall eyed Diamond as he trotted back to his work station with the recipe. Using magic, he went around, collecting ingredients and supplies. For all he knew, his recipe was some kind of soup.

"Maybe I can make it rival the soup Diamond and I had last night..."

He grinned.

Rambler woke up from his nap and decided to see if Cascade was doing anything at the moment. Her morning classes should be over by now, after all. He walked into the lounge, and was surprised to see that Cascade was right there. She was turned the other way, so he decided to sneak up on her. Coming up behind her and covering her eyes with his hooves he shouted, "Guess who!".

Cascade had been starting to doze off where she sat, reclined as she was, and flinched suddenly when she felt somepony cover her eyes. After a bewildered moment, she actually began to laugh. As she pulled herself away out of the pony's clutches, she said, smiling, "Rambler! Don't do that! You scared me!"

Rambler smiled, just happy to be with her again. 

Cascade rolled her eyes. She couldn't have prevented herself from doing so, so she didn't bother trying. A faint smile had crossed her muzzle, however.

 

"Oh, my morning classes were alright. I managed to survive Oceanology, anyway. It wasn't incredibly interesting. Mostly stuff I already knew." She stretched, and stood up. She had no desire to remain sedentary.

Rambler saw her get up and tried to think of what they could go do together.

 

"Yeah, my anthropology class was the same way. Well, I guess that's better than it being too hard, though. Anyway, do you want to go get lunch or something? Or we could go swimming again or something. I don't have any more classes today, so I'm free whenever you are."

Star was about to simply walk out into the hall until he saw Cascade and Rambler  Taking precautionary methods he stepped back behind the corner and thought over his next actions carefully. He couldn't just walk up to them and simply say "How you doing?" nor could he just pretend they weren't there. If he tried to do anything in the slightest bit offensive he worried how they might react. Well, there was nothing for it. Star decided he probably should apologise and try to at least appear sincere about it. Stepping out from the corner he trotted over to the couple who were enjoying each others company. Well, here goes nothing.

 

"Hey Rambler, Cascade. Long time no seek." Well, no turning back now, I can only begin to wonder how they will react. "How are you doing this morning?"

Rambler gave Star Keeper a warning glare and moved closer to Cascade, protectively. He wasn't going to let Star interfere with their relationship.

All Cascade could manage to do was stare at Star Keeper. She had wanted to say something cruel, or demand answers, but... She couldn't. And she didn't know why. She felt her stomach drop, and sort of distractedly ambled alongside Rambler. "Yeah... I guess we were," she agreed. The words felt empty. She felt truly felt nothing but shock at the moment.

Star scuffed the ground nervously with his hoof. "I-I guess I was a bit of jerk. It wasn't my place to say anything...  and I'm sorry." If his mane wasn't so short he's probably be hiding behind it. This kind of coming clean was utterly petrifying. "I c-can just leave you alone... if that's what you want?"

"No, it wasn't your place. You had your chance with Cascade and you abandoned her. Now your making it even worse by keeping her from finding anyone else.  Nobody deserves that, especially not someone as amazing as her. Please, for her sake, just let it go."

"You're right of course, just be sure to do a better job than I could have." And with that he turned and slowly dragged his hooves along the hallway, not turning back for another glance, nor too sure where he was going. He didn't care.

Cascade just sort of bowed her head, and tried to block out the shouting. She had never liked confrontations... It wasn't clear whether she was embarrassed or ashamed or upset, or what. In fact, she herself didn't know what to think. "Let's... Let's just go," she murmured.

Rambler turned back to Cascade and followed her out of the building.

 

"Right, I'm sorry about that. It's just that you don't deserve to be treated that way. And he thinks he can just casually walk up to you afterwards like nothing happened. It makes me mad to see him disrespect you like that. Let's just forget about it, it's in the past now. I don't think he's going to interfere anymore."
