Diamond smiled as he nuzzled her. "I'm happy you're happy, and life will just get better. Prom is going to be wonderful and full of fun and friends. we'll all get drunk...or not...either way there will be dancing and fun and games and woohoo." She said, her voice full of excitement.

 

"Full of friends... I don't have many."

He laughed, then sat up almost abruptly.

"Hey... you know what? If you don't mind, you and I should also take Coco. I don't think she's met to many other ponies, and if I am correct, then she needs to make at least a few connections. What do you think?"

"I...ok...yea, that would be a nice thing to do." She said, sitting up and stretching her wings. "It's strange. I was expecting to see more of her around but...she's always at the lab or in her room. The only time she has really gone out is at the cafe a few months ago." She said.

Diamond nodded and stood up. She picked up her stuff and headed towards the door, but waited for Nightfall halfway through the doorway. "I won't bother you or anything will I ?" She asked. "For some reason I feel like Lite may have that colt from before over...and I wouldn't want to interrupt anything."

He smiled, leaning into her and walking down the hall, trying to remember Coco's room number.

"Now... hang on... is this- no, this isn't it. Ah, wait, hang on. Here it is," he said, eventually, moving towards a door. He knocked on it, hoping it was Coco's room.

"Wait...aren't we going to your room or are we- Oh wait this is Coco's room." She said, looking at the room number. *I was hoping to have some Me and Nightfall time.* She thought, waiting for Coco to answer the door. "I wonder if she's home or not...if not we could check the lab."

Shade opened the door, and she started flapping her wings and running back towards her dorm... She was quick to get back there, but she was freezing cold by the time she got to the dorm.

 

She slowly walked, shivering towards her room. She changed to her changeling forum and started walking a bit faster, it didnt help the cold, but it gave her a bit more energy.

Sky watched Shade leave. "Wow she didn't even say goodbye." Sky mumbled. "Well at least I still have my blueberry muffin." Sky said to himself as he picked it up and took a bite. "Um excuse me waitress could I have another Mocha triple shot this time." He asked the waitress.

She then smiled at Arcane for some unknown reason.

*83... Got it!* Lila thought happily to herself. She then collected her books an headed out of the room goin back to her dorm room. *I hope he dosnt get anything fancy to wear. I probably should've told him. Oh well. Oh, but whats Cascade going to think about this. Ugh, why do i never plan ahead?* thoughts continued to run through her head when she reached the dorm, not the slightest bit freezing. She entered the door, closing it behind her, then threw her bags in one corner and jumped onto her bed smiling at the celling.

I wonder how quickly this will have escalated to by prom...' he thought. He heard a click in the distance, and he slowly broke the kiss. "You locked the door. Are you planning to....?" He asked, slightly confused. He loved Lite, but he couldn't do that, not tonight. Unless she was begging him. Literally, down on her knees, begging him.

Lite smiled right at him, and somehow, some odd instinct took over her. She got down on the bed on her knees. "...Please? No one will enter... It's perfect...", she begged. 

 

Meanwhile, Night Shimmer was a bit weirded out by this and exited the room, the magical chains still powered by her are still up.

Just then, Rambler remembered the thing in his coat pocket. The thing that he had been waiting for months to find the right time to give to her. And what better time was there than Hearts and Hooves Day?

 

"Umm... Cascade, can we maybe find somewhere quiet to talk? There's something I want to show you."

Lite looked at Slide with a smug grin, moving her tail right past his snout, giggling. 

 

"Whenever you want, Slide... But, let it be soon. And, of course we're going to take precautions with this. I'm not wanting to let this get so much out.. And I need to make sure Diamond or Nightfall don't ruin this plan at all..."

 

At that moment, the door was unlocked, but still closed, and the chains from Night Shimmer was gone. 

 

"Can we still... You know... Cuddle and such?"

He began to stroke her mane. "I love you too, Lite. I'll never let anypony brwak your heart again." He whispered. He wasn't sure if she was asleep or not, but he enjoyed the feel of her head on his fur. She was so soft, and looked so cute with her eyes. He couldn't wait to dance with her at prom; just one slow dance, swaying with her looking into her eyes. If that wasn't perfection, he didn't know what was.

"Oh crap, everyone, hide!" she whispered. Cat got under the bed, but Slimy got just confused. Coco looked around in a panic.

"Who could possibly come to visit me? What do they need from me?"

Coco took Slimys hoof and led him behind a pile of books. "Don't worry. Just keep silent and stay in here."

"Um.. who's there?" she asked walking to the door, but probably too silently. Her mane was still a little moist, which made her tip of mane curly.

She slowly opened the door. "What?"

"Wh-..Nightfall? Diamond? Oh.. hello." she grinned nervously. Slimy curiously looked out of the pile, but she was blocking their sights as much as her short body could. "What can I do for you?" she added, still grinning.

"Thanks for the offering, it's true that nopony asked me to go with them.. surprisingly." she grinned with irony. "But I don't know if I can go.. I don't even know when the prom is... And to be honest, I don't feel like being the fifth wheel.." her sight skipped from Diamond to Nightfall and back. Looking from the bottom on those two alicorns, she felt so small.

Coco could hear that something behind her fell down, probably a book.

"Oh my, Slimy..."

She facehoofed inside. She got her nervous grin on again, skipping from one hoof to other.
