Le art dump, this time Flutterbat, my personal fav of the trio of Flutterbat, Flutterhulk, & Flutterrage; I have noticed a lack of love for this Vampiric Cuteness, why is that? I think it is an awesome design, & a fun little thing that worked better for me than Flutterhulk (which just was a painfully obvious & unfunny turn) & Flutterrage which just... Ergh... Sure they're friends...but that's it. Discord has NEVER had a friend before. So the whole concept of "friendship" is new to him. He just really likes Fluttershy because she's the one that cares about him the most. So he's jsut being real friendly with her overall. The concept of dislestia makes much more sense, sine they've had previous encounters with each other, a thousand years ago. That is really strange because i think the same about Dislestia. It neither would make sense nor would it fit her character. In all honesty i think that fluttercord may become really the next sparity. He will maybe develope a crush on her but that's all. Afterall, he only cared for fluttershy or didn't you guys saw the S4 finale? Because it appears to me that he cares far more for Fluttershy than to any other pony, especially Celestia. (By the way, the flowers were an apology. Confirmed by Word of God) All signs point to Fluttercord, maybe not as a romance but defintely a close and deep friendship. As of right now we never see him, other than if he needs something (Three's a company)or they need him(S4 Finale). So he won't be that common of a character like Spike is. PS: Neither Celestia (or Luna) nor Discord are gods.
