Yea, I preordered clear back when they first opened the gates.

 

The Funko Trixies are great, I still have a third spare since I never got around to sending it back. If you can't find a good deal on one when you get around to it, I'd gladly trade for a Rarity. 

 

Also, gotta agree that Alicorn Amulet Trixie > White Mage Trixie. I mean, aside from canon, that amulet makes her as powerful as Celestia. Of course, I'd much rather see her use those powers for good then enslave Ponyville in a banner and applesauce making frenzy.

While Alicorn Amulet Trixie is pretty badass, she's also slightly evil. Normal Trixie is just very, very arrogant in a jerk with a heart of gold manner, which is both hilarious and endearing.

While I don't want to see her be "good" I'd like it if she were to reappear with her old attitude, but in a way that's helpful to the mane 6 rather than detrimental That trademark style of boasting is what sparked my interest in her character, but I do think it'd be gnarly to see her return like that in S5.

 

 

If Hasbro do bring Trixie back then this should be the way they do it. Getting rid of her hubris would be getting rid of a big part of her character and would feel like a cop-out. Sure, make her a bit more reasonable, but she's not going to become humble because of a couple of encounters with Twilight.

I would like to see Trixie's "smoke-and-mirrors" aspect brought to the fore, since I would imagine that illusions are her special talent given her profession and it would be fun to see the full extent of her powers.

Alright, now that I've got that out of the way, has anyone read the new IDW Comic yet? I was so excited for it I picked it up within 5 minutes of it being released on Comixology

Featured the 3 best ponies: Rarity, The Great and Powerful Trixie, and Applejack

How on earth could I not be excited about that?

Trixie was absolutely amazing in it! I mean, wow. She's easily one of the best parts of the comic - she's still her arrogant, boastful self, but she's also an anti-hero and is helpful to the mane 4 that are there. She actually might be the major character of that comic, though. I'm not complaining

Hopefully S5 will follow in this comic's footsteps and bring her back in this kind of light

Now, to anxiously await for issue #22 so I can see the conclusion to this thrilling storyline...I'll be sure and pick it up within the first 5 minutes of release again

Ah. Damn - you're really missing out on a great issue I know some people scan the comics and make them accessible through YouTube. Perhaps you can look into that?

 

And because the Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't trust round pizza, duh
