Digital Paint, needs a name! D:

Alright guys I have made another digital painting, this time I mixed it up and DIDN'T do Rainbow Dash (Shocker I know!) So I made an OC, but the problem is he needs a name, that's where I want you name experts to come into play.  Could someone please help me out on a name.

I don't have a solid story on his background.  But he is unable to fly due to the scaring of his wing, his mark is also a scar which meant his true mark could never come to be visible.  Since he couldn't fly he picked up a talent for music and believes that's his gift but he is unable to know for sure.

I haven't decided how he got his injuries.  So if you think of a good reason just shout it out.

So any name suggestions???

EDIT: How about we make this interesting, whoever's name I think was the best, will have a free drawing waiting for them!

What about Scherzo (SCEHRT-zo)? It's one movement of a sonata, played in triple time. Relates to music, and it's usually the weirder part of a sonata. He seems like a bit of an oddball, and he has three scars (one on his wing, and one on each flank) so triple time... three... yeah.

 

He looks like a dude who's had a rough life. Maybe he's a pegasus who was born to earth/unicorn ponies, so his father never believed he was truly his child, grew to hate him, and damaged his wing so he could never fly? 

 

Also, that picture is beautiful. Great work. The fireflies really tie it all together.

I don't really have any ideas for a name but I think Murphy's Law is a really good one...

 

Also, I just wanted to tell you that the image along with the little information you wrote about him is really powerful. Just thinking about it made me almost cry. His background story has a lot of potential, good luck!

That... is beautiful   I really like how you went about the naming system and the story reminds me of a tragic mr. and mrs cake scenario.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I was really into playing the violin for a good 10 years, so when I see someone looking to name their musically-talented pony I spew musical terms at 'em.

I was actually in band and play multiple instruments, so you can hack out all the terms you like! I liked your music term in particular though.
