Speaking of comedy (yes, that was my attempt at a segue lol), one of the many reasons I enjoyed "Flight to the Finish" was the juxtaposition of super-happy, enthusiastic Dashie and the characteristically miserable Harshwhinny:

RD and Harshwhinny = comedy gold.  I foresee an episode where Rainbow, Daring, and Harshwhinny all go on a ridiculous adventure to do whatever.  RD nearly has another fangirling episode but reins it in with some "encouraging" words from the stoic Harshwhinny.  But later in the episode, Harshwhinny ignores her own advice and goes full-on fangirl over Daring.  Rainbow Dash responds, "See!?  Not so easy, is it?!"  Daring spends the entire episode sweating profusely and grinning awkwardly.

Hey I just thought of something: let's say Rainbow is in the middle of a picnic or some such social gathering with her friends.

 

She wants to hang out, but she's also got someplace else to be.  How does she slip out without hurting her friends' feelings?  The answer is obvious!

 

 

BAM: Dashie decoy.  And she can always slip back in later.  Twilight and co. surely won't notice...

I love Rainbow Dash. Mainly cuz she reminds me of how I am Now. Naturally growing up I was Fluttershy. I then grew out of it and through the power of Friendship I became more like Rainbow Dash. Always outgoing. Never Shy to talk. Though sometimes when I'm feeling down I go back to feeling like Flutteryshy.
