He didn't want to sit here and say nothing, so he quickly thought of something to keep the conversation going "So who were you meeting in Canterlot?" he asked somewhat nervously. "I think you said relatives?" Dusk...it really didn't need that last part...

Moonbeam finally reached Accent's door with the others. She knocked three times before waiting for a response. There was a loud noise coming from inside the room. From what Moonbeam could tell, Accent was practicing her drumming. I hope she heard me, she thought.

Star pondered Harmonic's words for a moment as she waited outside Accent's door. *'Just happy to be around m'...wait...does he actually ? L-Like me ?* She asked herself, taking a quick glance at Harmonic.

Her thoughts were disrupted by a loud tapping of a snare drum inside Accents room.

Accent finished up her solo, already hearing the door knocks during the middle of it. She walked up to the door, and opens it.

 

"Oh, Star Song, Moonbeam, hey!", she happily said, throwing her drumsticks on the bed. "Come in! I don't mind!"

Harmonic notices that Star Song took a quick glance at him. "Maybe she likes me, no wait, maybe she already has a special somepony. I don't stand a chance with a mare like her." He says to himself.

 

Harmonic takes the invitation and walks inside the suite with the others.

Fiera noticed the awkward pause and saw Dusk was just trying to keep up the conversation. "Yeah, relatives. They actually didn't know they had a niece and a cousin until now. It didn't take long to spot the most royal family in all of Canterlot. Took a little while to convince them though"

"I uh...I can imagine, yeah. I'm sorry I don't have anything interesting to talk about, it's all just generally work-a-day life. This is the first holiday i've had for a long time, actually." He looked out the window again, seeing they where passing through some rather large fields right now, he was surprised to see they where quite barron of much activity. "So uh, how did they react to finding out about their estranged relative?"

"That is certainly a nice snare you have there. Haha, sorry, the rhyme was not intentional." Harmonic said, looking at Accent, and at least trying to be friendly.

"Actually, i thought they wouldn't take it very well. I thought they would be like 'Oh my, where have you been all this time? Were taking you away from those crazy parents of yours and giving you a real royal life!' but actually they were rather chill about it. They understood and treated me like family, instead of royalty. I loved it and had a really good time with them. Sadly they don't have any mares my age, so almost all of their colts were trying to flirt with me... Well, before i told them who i was that is"

 

Fiera shuffled in her seat to try and feel more comfortable. "And its okay, i was starting to run out of things to talk about as well"

Hair family was trying to flirt with her..? NO! Stop it Dusk...not cool. "Hmm, so uh...do you...want to see what the train has to offer? Visit the roller rink? Get a drink or...something..?" Dusk stood up and trotted over to the door, wanting to be walking around instead of sitting. He was starting to get restless.

Fiera nodded and got up as well and walked out of the room into the hallway. "I guess we could take a look around the train and 'see what it has to offer'" she repeated. She started to head down the train, motioning for Dusk to follow her. Fiera knew now she needed to be more reserved around Dusk. She was a bit too talkative for him she sensed.

Dusk closed his door and followed loosely behind Fiera, taking in the decoration of the train as they walked. "You any idea's where we're going?" he asked "where is everypony? It's rather quiet around here...sorry, i'm off again." he laughed a little before going quiet again.

She smiled at him. She knew which way he was to smile at him. Well, Encore mused, she probably had heightened hearing as a result of her blindness. He amused himself momentarily with the idea that he would probably be able to get around without eyesight as well. His hearing was better than anypony he'd ever met. He'd have to try to walk around with his eyes closed later. Or, at least where nopony could see him doing it. "They call me Encore," he informed her as they began to trot, his Trottingham-elite accent as pronounced as ever. "Watch out, there's a step here."

"Alright, thanks." Unholy said, trotting next to Encore.

Next to the blind pony that wanted adventure, Encore suddenly felt that his own reasons for coming were awfully inadequate. He traveled plenty on his own. He probably had already seen all of the sights that this train was probably going to stop at. After a moment of pondering, he responded, "I just needed a bit of fresh air, I suppose. A vacation." And it was certainly true that he hadn't taken any personal time lately. His whole life was his work.

"It's lots of fun, I played it at some of the casinos in Canterlot before. Wanna try it? It's basically like a lottery." Harmonic said, asking Moonbeam.

Accent looked around the casino, the flashing lights reflecting in her eyes. She turned to see a empty slot machine in the corner.

 

"I think I'll try the slots. I'm feeling a bit risky today.", she said walking over to the machine, and sitting down in front of it. She inserted about 5 bits into the machine, watching the wheels turn on it. "All right.... Annnnnnnnd... There!", she cried, pushing the lever down.

Then, twenty numbers are drawn randomly, if you have the numbers that are picked, you win. However, the less numbers you have picked, the more it pays out. It's kind of like a lottery. " Harmonic says.

"I think I got the jackpot on my first try!", she called out to Moonbeam, Harmonic, and Star Song. "Because there's about 500 bits flowing out!"
