Actius nodded to Flame Dancer and said a simple, "Howdy." He was rather interested by the circus thing, although clowns really spooked him...so you could imagine that he was pretty relieved to learn that Flamey was not a clown.

((A few posts later...))

"Come on, Encore! Going backstage sounds like fun. Maybe if somepony who works here hears you play, they'll hire you! Okay, I don't think that's how it really works, but we could try, right? It'll be fun!"

Silent looked at Actius, not sure which was the better idea. She was afriad of getting caught if they went on stage, but to dance up there would be spectacular. But the last time she got caught...she squeezed her eyes, not wanting to remember that day so many years ago. She simply nodded, hoping that at least being in a group would help.

Actius noticed that Silent seemed to be even more scared than Encore, and he thought he'd try to make the idea sound a little better. "If anyone notices us, It'll be easy to lie - I have an acting cutie mark and could pretend to be an actor, Encore and Accent both have music cutie marks and could pretend to be the hired musicians, Silent's the dancer, and Flame could pretend to be a stunt double. Yeah, we're pretty well disguised." He chuckled a bit.

Silent nodded again. 'If only he knew. Urgh...I wish I could tell him. Like legit, open my mouth and talk to him. If only I could. Gosh darn it, Actius, kiss me already and I will be able to!' She then realized that she had been awkwardly staring at the table the whole time as she was lost in thought. She looked up and nodded again.

@@Fire Runner,

Max couldn't help but laugh at that. He found it ironic, as he thought himself to be a horrible liar. After retrieving his fedora, Max took a second to compose himself.

"Heh, you know you look good wearing the family heirloom. Anyway, let us see what we can get into...and avoid getting caught. I don't think I have a second lie in me." Max chuckled to himself and continued walking through backstage, guiding Unholy along with him. At least his depression had subsided.

Unholy began walking around then she bumped into another pony.

"watch where you're going! what are ye? blind!" the stallion snapped before trotting away.

"yes..." Unholy half-muttered, half-whispered in the direction of the stallion that yelled at her.

Unholy turned her head towards Max, tears were welling up in her eyes.

@@Fire Runner, @@Fire Runner,

Max gave a sharp glare to the stallion as he walked by, which was met with a look saying "waddidido?" Max looked over at Unholy to see she was beginning to cry. Max halted them in there tracks, crouching down to be at eye level with the blind mare.

"Hey now, its OK. That was just one of those stuck up ponies I mentioned before. He would of never made such a awful remark if he knew you were..." Max trailed off. He didn't want to inflame the situation, and he knew words would do just that. So Max brought Unholy in for a tight hug. He patted her shoulder along with this hug.

"It's OK. I understand the feeling of alienation. Just let it all out. It is healthier than holding it in." Max spoke very softly, trying his hardest to comfort the mare. Seeing her in such a state hurt him, and he was going to do all he could to fix it.

(Sorry, guys. I'm back, and after a short mental break, I'm ready to run this RP again.)

But the last time she got caught...she squeezed her eyes, not wanting to remember that day so many years ago. She simply nodded, hoping that at least being in a group would help.

Encore grinned, although not entirely comfortably. "Alright, I guess," he murmured, as he stood up, about to accompany them backstage, when over the city's intercom system came a message. "The Friendship Express will be departing Sydneigh Station in ten minutes. All passengers please return to the train. Thank you."

Accent smiled, slowly wrapping her tail right around his and tightening it, as they began to walk back to the train. She whispered inside his ear.

Silent nodded, and looked back at Actius as she trotted back to the train. Darn it! I was going to find something romantic for us to do, so maybe he and I could actually become....a thing. Guess not. She decided one last attempt at this. She grabbed her notebook and scribbled, "Dance?" And levitated it over to Actius.

@@Fire Runner,

"Here, let's get to the train. I am sure there is something fun there." Max continued to speak softly. He kept one hoof around her as he walked them both back to the station.

"You mustn't let the jerks of the world get you down. What they say or think doesn't matter in the slightest. They just do it to make themselves feel better. Anypony who would pick on someone as amazing as you is either stupid, or pitiful. Don't ever forget that." Max never let his voice raise a single octave. He maintained a soothing calm voice all the way. When they stepped into the Friendship Express, Max took a brief moment to take in the luxurious nature of it all. He came across a coffee shop, and decided that-if they sell tea, that this would be a good way to relax ones frayed nerves.

"Allow me to buy you a drink. Maybe some tea?"

After his few hours of self-loathing, Somber had gotten out of his bed. What to do when he was saddened? Play his guitar of course. He collected it out of his case, and slung it around his shoulder. Although he seemed a bit too depressed, he began playing a song he had picked up in the past few weeks... His voice began to be a lot softer whilst he sang...

"sure, you can buy me some tea. I'll go find us a table. just order me some mint tea!" Unholy called as she trotted over to a spare table.

she flicked the crumbs off of the table that was left by the previous pony who ate there then proceeded to wait for Max to return with their drinks.

@@Fire Runner,

Max trotted up to the counter, looking up at the menu.
"What can I get you sir?"

"Uh, can I get a mint tea and small coffee?"

"Certainly. That will be 10 bits." Max fished into his pocket, retrieving the bits and sliding them across the counter. He was down to 2 bits. He hadn't expected to go through his money so fast. He retrieved the drinks and took a seat at the table Unholy chose.

"Here you go, one mint tea." Max said, handing the tea to Unholy. Max took a sip from his coffee, looking across the table at Unholy.

"You OK now? If there is anything else I can do, don't hesitate to ask." Max said, taking another sip from his drink. It was rather hot, but Max didn't mind it. It helped calm his nerves.

A notepad suddenly appeared in his face, and he was rather startled. He backed up into the table behind him, spilling someone's coffee that they had left there. "Oops." He laughed and cleaned up the coffee via magic and looked at the notepad. "Dance? Sure, I'd love to! We have to go back to the train soon, so how about the trains' ballroom?"

"Pfft, like we need weapons. Darling, my body is my weapon." Jabber waggled his eyebrows suggestively and flexed his (admittedly puny) muscles. "And anyway, its not like we need to be the ones to do the job. We could always make it look like an accident, or perhaps trick another pony into doing it." Jabber's inner voice cackled madly at this prospect. Wouldn't it be the greatest irony if they somehow convinced Accent to murder that moronic Encore?

Mirror face palmed. Luckily, she hadn't seemed to pick up ALL of Jabber's traits. Notably, the ones that included showing off her 'manlyness'. Though, the second part was an interesting concept. They could get Accent herself to kill their enemy. Still, she was concerned someone had heard. Anyone could ruin this. "Let us be off"

Silwnt tried to keep up. Favorite color? Points to wall. Least favorite movie? Charades "Titanic." Soon, she was able to just get back to the dance, trying to speak with emotion. Mainly, her gratitude and thanks for Actius, and her love. She needed him to understand, as she found herself wrapped in his hooves as the music ended, and she closed her eyes as her head rest on his shoulder. She saw what she was doing and quickly opened them, and turned her head to look at Actius.

"Uh? But we haven't...eh, always let the mare lead." Jabber hopped out of his seat and trotted outside, leading Mirror onto the sidewalk. The sun was at whatever position in the sky made sense for how much time had passed since the last time they had talked inside of the restaurant (OOC: WHAT TIME IS IT). Jabber turned to Mirror and asked, "So, what do you wanna do? Where do we start? I've never actually...y'know...done something like this." His eye twitched involuntarily, and he couldn't suppress a light chuckle. The cliche eye-twitch was the first sign of a crazy pony. But he wasn't crazy, right? At least not yet.

Somber had realized something after his song... He was hungry. And the room provided no mini fridge with food or anything for him... He would have to come out of his room for food. He slowly stepped out of the doorway, looking around. No sign of Star... Good?

He slowly walked around, trying to find the food car.

Actius danced along with Silent, and he felt her trying to convey feelings, deep emotions, one emotion in particular...love. Silent was in love with Actius. At first, he didn't know what to think. Did he love her? Was it for real? But at one point or another he just got lost in the dance, just letting everything out. Right then, nothing mattered but him and Silent. When they stopped, he had Silent in a close embrace. She looked at him and he looked at her. Oh, her eyes were dazzling. The choice is yours, buddy. He closed his eyes, leaned in, and kissed her.

It was a lot different than Silent thought it was going to be.

She thought it would be a quick rejoice in victory, and then pull away and start talking.

She completely forgot at that moment that her voice had indeed returned.

Instead, she was wrapped up in the moment with Actius, wrapped up in kissing him. She pulled him close, happily knowing that he finally got the message. She held herself in the sweet embrace for awhile, until something tingled in her throat.

Urgh, stupid voicebox. Wait a minute...VOICE!

She slowly pulled away, and touched her hoof to her throat. "Ah." She said. I said. There was a sound. It...it worked.

It was a raspy sound, but a sound nonetheless. "You...you healed me. I can talk again..." She spoke, her voice raspy and hoarse.

The rest of the world was obliterated. Actius didn't care about anything else, just the pounding of his heart and the spectacular kiss. Truthfully Actius had only kissed one other mare before, but that was when he was in high school, and it wasn't anything serious. This was different. He was in love and he now knew it with absolute certainty.

Then Silent spoke. Talked. Created words by moving her mouth and tongue and exhaling simultaneously. He stared at her with his mouth ajar, bewildered. She could talk?! Since when? "Hhh...how did you...did you just...?!" He just stood there then, lost in thought. I...she...but...we...what?!

"It's...a long story. Which is why I haven't told you until...well,.I could tell you. Once upon a tim I was a filly, four years old at the time. For some reason, these stallions wanted my family to be killed, every single one of us. Whether it was power or money, I don't know, probably both, considering that my parents were in the royal system. They looked, but couldn't find them, but they found me. So they made a deal; If I told them where my parents were, I got to live. Only, I didn't. But one stallion said that death was too kind, that I'd be with my parents, and I'd be fine. Instead, he placed a curse on me, in which, since I refused to talk to him, he made it so I could never talk to anypony."

"I went through many doctors and healers, but with no luck. My family, had unfortunately, been found, and with it, anyconnection to a good doctor or unicorn. My identity was hidden, and I was moved from Canterlot to Ponyville, on the edge of the Everfree Forest. Finally, I found a zebra healer who was able to make a potion that made a counter-spell; if I could get somepony to love me that I loved too, if they kissed me, it offered a sort of "sacrifice," for my voice. And, well, you did that. You love me, and well....I love you. And I could never thank you enough for freeing me."

She coughed, her voice quite hoarse from speaking so much after gaining her voice back. She quickly added, "My real name is Fawn Dancer, by the way. I had to take up the other one because to protect my identity, and everypony figured I was born mute because of it,.further protecting me."

"But I know I'm safe now. I have you."
